I struggle as the mother of a son, I have to admit if he was 17 'I' would see him as a minor, and if an adult man shot him in the chest, because 'he said' he feared for his life, yet didn't even have to spend one night in a hospital, and my son will never live again, and can not give his version of the story, I can't imagine how I would react. I know I would want that man to have to spend time in jail for killing my son.

I also pray my son never injures another individual by beating their head against pavement, breaking their nose, etc. that constitutes assaulting a human life, and has to deal with those consequences....

I don't remember reading about all the worrying of parenting in 'What to expect when you're expecting"

TM's girlfriends statement.

GIRLFRIEND: Yeah, ’cause, he said, it was still a little bit dripping water so he put his hoodie on. So I said, ’What’s going on?’ He said, this man is still watching from a car. So he about to run from the back. I told him, go to his dad’s house. Run to his dad’s house.

PROSECUTOR: Go to what?

GIRLFRIEND: Run to his dad’s house.

PROSECUTOR: To his dad’s house?

GIRLFRIEND: Yeah. So he said he was about to run from the back, so the next that I hear, he just run. I can hear that the wind blowing.

PROSECUTOR: So you could tell he was running at that time? OK. And then what happened?

GIRLFRIEND: Then he said, he lost him.

PROSECUTOR: He lost what, the man?

GIRLFRIEND: Yeah.

PROSECUTOR: So was Trayvon, at that time, you could tell he was, like, out of breath, like excited?

GIRLFRIEND: Yeah.

PROSECUTOR: OK. Take your time, I know this is difficult for you.

GIRLFRIEND: So he lost him. He was breathing hard. And by the sound of his voice, his voice kind of changed.

PROSECUTOR: Who, Trayvon’s?

GIRLFRIEND: Yeah.

What is going on with this left to right stuff? I am missing something.............

We all agree it's a communication break down... but remember they did ask him to wait by the mailboxes which he also decided was a choice.

They did but then he told the 911 to have the police call him when they arrived so he could tell them where he was and that was okay with the 911 operator. He said okay and made sure he has his cell number.

Nothing in the call told him NOT to get out of his car. Nothing. No one told him NOT to go walking.

I think it is mainly to dispute her telling of events. She did not say this when testifying in her deposition.

It's simply something she never mentioned before. She did mention running before though. I think he's just trying to poke holes and compromise her believability.

Please find a link, TY.

I am not following this..

He hit GZ. No doubt.. do you count if someone is hitting you in the head or flailing at you?? I don't think I would be. It is like when people say that they were scared and it felt like hours but really it was only minutes.

I think in the dark, pitch dark and getting beat on by a bigger guy than him it must have been terrifying and it felt like 30 blows. But we all know if you have ever been in a fight there are few clean shots. Most of it is defended or partial blows.

i posted it 4 pages back - what i am saying is that you are speculating TM hit GZ w/ something else besides his hands, and not only is there no evidence of this GZ has never even claimed that

So, one set of histories is admissible, while another is not. Gotcha.

That's all I was demonstrating. :winko:

No, what you were seem to have been attempting to do was blame the victim based on internet trash talk. Zimmerman has a clear, documented police record of violence, not speculation based on a few tweets that may or may not have even come from Martin. There is a difference.

Was he arrested for it? What were the circumstances of the previous violence he had? Did he attack anyone? Thanks.

I went back and listened to the NEN call and I counted the time between the beeping noise (when Zimmerman exited his vehicle) to the time Zimmerman said Ok (after being told we don't need you to do that) was approximately 20 seconds. If he headed back to his vehicle at that time we can assume it would take about another 20 seconds to return, give or take. Yet the NEN call continued for another 90 seconds. Shouldn't we have been able to hear the confrontation with Martin if that's the case?

Well there is because he was hitting his head on the pavement. That would be something other than his hands.

Not if he was walking back and stood outside the car and was talking to 911.

All of his charges were dropped. All of this stuff was from 2005.

I don't want to get too far ahead.
