I can tell you that when I was on a sedative after my daughter died, I could barely stay awake.. she passed away in 2011 and I just recently (within the last 6 months) got off of them all. It seriously messed my perceptions up, and I felt numb and non responsive, even to her pictures.

I'm so sorry to hear this :(. Hugs and love.

Seems like West is trying to make every witness into<modsnip>
Just because people actually witness something...and end up on tv talking about it...does NOT mean they are looking for anything.

When stories blow up...and people go looking for information...and other people have it, it's no surprise to me that those people actually give that information.

I didn't like it when he did it yesterday, and I don't like it today.

I agree, he's too much with the media stuff. This last witness said she didn't want her identity revealed, I wouldn't want mine either if I were a witness to something, but I would still want to give my story on what I know. You want witnesses to step out and say what they saw/heard but you also want to protect your identity as well. ;)

You're unarmed, being followed first in car and then on foot by a man you don't know and when he gets close enough to you, you see a gun. You wouldn't scream? Really? I would be screaming for help thinking this man is about to shoot me.

Why not call 911 then?

Not that I'm saying this is what happened (or could even be proven) but do you realize in your scenario GZ would not be guilty of 2nd degree murder?

And do you realize I just said in another post that I didn't think he was guilty of second degree murder? I already said manslaughter.

As far as proven? GZ said this in his walkthrough, after the exchange he reached for his cell phone. Why is it so easy to believe that GZ was afraid of a young man walking home from the store but TM couldn't have been afraid if a man following him for no reason. At least not a reason that he explained.

Because of an eye witness statement,I most seriously doubt Trayvon Martin harmed George Zimmerman at all.

March 14, 2012 -- Mary Cutcher, a woman listed in police reports as a witness who heard Martin's shooting, tells WFTV.com that police took only a short statement from her following the shooting.

"[The police] blew us off, and I called back again and I said, 'I know this was not self-defense. There was no punching, no hitting going on at the time, no wrestling,'" says Cutcher.

As an innocent bystander, she had no reason whatsoever to lie, whilst George Zimmerman of course has. I think he received his mild scratches by slipping on the wet sidewalk or grass ( onto the sidewalk ) and as another poster put forth, he had plenty of time to bash his own nose with that heavy flashlight before the police arrived.

My point was simply this: People who make false presumptions, assumptions, and illogical leaps in the face of actual facts and evidence look and sound ignorant and deficient in reason, especially when cross-examined in public. And that is how that witness looked.

Thats Fine, but IMHO it does make a difference.

And my issue was with another user saying that emotion isn't allowed in the courtroom (even signals or remorse)

Lol sorry if that were true everyone including the lawyers would have been thrown out by now...

That is just common knowledge. Most judges will tell the families that they are not allowed to show outbursts of emotion and need to stay under control at all times.

For Defendants there is no winning. They show emotion they are acting, they don't they are mean..

No matter what you can not win.

It means nothing to me as far as guilt.

This is based on George's story. There's no evidence that's how it happened.

I agree. In fact this whole gun thing has me a bit confused. I would think, again, my opinion, that if GZ was screaming (the scream in the 911 call), how could he scream and reach for his gun at the same time while being beaten up. I know I would be focused on trying to get the gun out of my holster, if he had it safely tucked in. I would think it would be hard to scream, fight and get your gun out while being pinned down on the ground when someone is on top of you. Again, I wasn't there nor have I been in this situation so I'm just "assuming".. :snooty:

WOW. thanks for that. Because it completely side steps her testimony today.

That's it right there. George said he was just walking back to his truck and boom he was attacked. That doesn't jel with me. Clearly, Trayvon came back to confront George, but I don't beleive George was just ladidi-da-ing and was attacked.

My quote button is not working (Could I be in trouble? I don't think I did anything TO worthy! eeek!)

Heather said- I can tell you that when I was on a sedative after my daughter died, I could barely stay awake.. she passed away in 2011 and I just recently (within the last 6 months) got off of them all. You are a better woman than I Heather, I would probably still be on them, if not triple the dose. Just want to say Sorry and *HUGS*, can not imagine what you have been through.
I think about you and RosemaryPierce a lot, and what you both have been/are going through.

Why not call 911 then?

What difference would it have made for TM to call 911? The police were called and already on their way to the scene.

Why didn't GZ ever once identify himself as NW to TM?

WOW. thanks for that. Because it completely side steps her testimony today.

That statement is NOT from the person we just heard from.

However, it does show some issues since we have had 2 witnesses say there was wrestling and/or arm flailing.

This is a great point. TM had a cell phone. If he was afraid, why didn't he call 911?

Because he was surrounded by people who learned and thought the way to handle people who have a problem with you or trying to "punk" you is to confront and even fight them. I'm not saying it's right, at all, but it is not something that surprised me for Trayvon to have done.

Maybe he was.. Maybe he was indeed looking around to see if there were signs of a break in or anything suspicious going on. Maybe he thought there may be more than one person in the neighborhood.

I just think why he was out of the car and what he was doing matters little.
