But didn't he know George prior to this? It seems unlikely that NOW he would remember something TM did (called for help) when he didn't say that initially..imo
I don't know if he personally knew George or not.

Is the state conceeding that TM was on top at this point? I'm confused...
I don't think so, the dark colored shirted person was always on top? I may have missed a piece of his testimony.

It now seems the prosecution is reduced to "well yeah Trayvon got on top and beat him up, but Zimmerman provoked him and started it, thus leading to the eventual shooting". imo
One media source stating John had to move after his testimony became public. He was being harassed and threatened....he seems to be the ONLY witness that saw with his eyes (not ears) what was happening early on in the event.
That's not true. How many times have you seen someone fall off bike or other reason to hit the sidewalk, and they get right up and have blood streaming down their face?
People get their heads bashed a LOT without losing consciousness.
I understand what the prosecution is trying to do but I think it is not going to work. He knew if he didn't call this witness the defense would.

Falling off a bike and having someone slam your head into concrete are apples and oranges.
I think I know why prosecution called him as their witness. since when he went in to call 911 the two figures were further away and in the time he went in to call the two figures moved to the grass right outside his patio. So obviously the two moved and TM ended up dead in the grass...face down.
Yea I was just thinking that. It would look worse for the state if they don't call the person who would of been the closest eyewitness.
How else are they going to explain Zimmerman's injuries to the back of the head?
