But didn't he know George prior to this? It seems unlikely that NOW he would remember something TM did (called for help) when he didn't say that initially..imo

I don't know if he personally knew George or not.

Is the state conceeding that TM was on top at this point? I'm confused...

Which witness was an architect?

I missed that.

I'm confused too

It now seems the prosecution is reduced to "well yeah Trayvon got on top and beat him up, but Zimmerman provoked him and started it, thus leading to the eventual shooting". imo

I don't think so, the dark colored shirted person was always on top? I may have missed a piece of his testimony.

True, eh said he thought it came from the person on the bottom because there was no echo, it came straight towards him. He said then that they flipped over.

How else are they going to explain Zimmerman's injuries to the back of the head?

Sure seems that way to me as well.

Him saying they moved to the sidewalk should put an end that they were never on the concrete.

I understand what the prosecution is trying to do but I think it is not going to work. He knew if he didn't call this witness the defense would.

One media source stating John had to move after his testimony became public. He was being harassed and threatened....he seems to be the ONLY witness that saw with his eyes (not ears) what was happening early on in the event.

GZ's friend mentioned witnesses being threatened, maybe it was John?

That's not true. How many times have you seen someone fall off bike or other reason to hit the sidewalk, and they get right up and have blood streaming down their face?

People get their heads bashed a LOT without losing consciousness.

Falling off a bike and having someone slam your head into concrete are apples and oranges.

I think I know why prosecution called him as their witness. since when he went in to call 911 the two figures were further away and in the time he went in to call the two figures moved to the grass right outside his patio. So obviously the two moved and TM ended up dead in the grass...face down.

I agree it was a preemptive strike, now they will try and discredit him.

Yea I was just thinking that. It would look worse for the state if they don't call the person who would of been the closest eyewitness.

Apples and oranges are actually very similar.

"Slamming" doesn't indicate how much force is used - it seems George could very well have perceived his head was "slamming" during the altercation, but you wouldn't think it was hitting the concrete with enough force to be called "slamming".

When you bike wreck onto concrete, I would think virtually anyone would characterize that as your head "slamming" onto the concrete, BTW.

It's sounds like it maybe started on the grass, moved to the sidewalk, then back to the grass?

I didn't realize how close he was. I hadn't followed this case closely, I had no idea there were that many witnesses.

I could do that to myself in 5 seconds. Your head area bleeds profuse.

I always thought that's what happened.IMO Trayvon had every right because he was scared to death.Rightfully so because he did end up dead.
