HE was standing on the lawn of a neighbor of Georges. GZ knew he did not belong there. HE knew he did not live there yet there he was on a rainy night, Standing on his friends property. That is suspicious. It would be to me if I looked out and say someone standing on my neighbors lawn that did not belong there.

There were also recent break ins. It makes sense.

I understand he was cutting through the neighborhood walking under buildings "overhangs" to keep the rain off him.

Someone who has a legal concealed carry permit.

I would to but unfortunately, that is not what GZ did.

And isn't that what makes this 2nd degree murder?

Taking the law into your own hands - no matter what you think MIGHT be happening - is in fact, against the law, isn't it?

In the phone recordings was Trayvon given a stop or i will shoot warning, or did GZ just blast away at the child?

And there lies the problem, he ASSUMED that Trayvon was one of those *******s that always got away, he was simply walking home. He already had it in his mind that Trayvon was an *******, suspicious and up to no good. making assumptions about someone based on how they look affects how you respond. The saddest part about this is that YOU too can be considered suspicious. Does someone have the right to follow you? call you an *******? assume that you're up to no good. You could be Trayvon martin right now to some overzealous George out there.

Yes, a person does have a right to do all of those things to me, and if I attack them physically, they have a right to defend themselves.

Judge setting Def Atty straight. His opening argument is going beyond what the evidence will show.

Didn't the NW tell him not to carry a gun? He now claims he was on his way to Target but at the time of the crime he was very vocal about being a NW member and that gave him the right to follow TM?

If GZ took such a beating why did he refuse medical treatment? Rather than be seen by someone with no interest in the events, instead he waited and went to see his family DR.

I like this judge.

have we seen pics from the sceen yet?

You can't just start a fight with someone because they talk to you funny/are following you and start wailing on that person. If you wind up getting shot as a result, the person that shot you isn't going to charged with murder.

That's assuming Trayvon started the "fight". We have a defendant trying to stay out of jail for shooting an unarmed teenager. He may have been suspicious of Trayvon, but he was wrong. We do not have proof Trayvon was "wailing" on GZ either. Only GZ's word. The word of a defendant.

Just blast away.

If he had the presence of mind to unholster the gun, work the double action and shoot,he could have given a warning. That he didn't speaks volumes to me

I am surprised the morgues have room for people who die of illness or old age. It flabbergasts me that you can walk around killing people for how they look.

REALLY? so you have analyzed this case and that is what happened? If so - it is a true miracle that he didn't shoot and kill his own grandfather who is AA.....

I understand he was cutting through the neighborhood walking under buildings "overhangs" to keep the rain off him.

How would anyone know that? He is sadly gone and can not say what he was doing.. But GZ said he was standing on his neighbors front lawn when he first saw him.

Other than GZ reporting where he was, We have no idea what he was really doing in the neighborhood.

I would to but unfortunately, that is not what GZ did.

The 911 dispatcher didn't help! He basically told George to keep watching George after they first hung up. If I were the operator I would say "yes I understand there have been plenty of robberies in your area. I will send police now to the complex. I'm sure they'll be able to find him. Thank you for your service."

The dispatcher did not tell him to "stay away as the person, if he is a thief, might be armed. You can be fatally injured! Do not proceed sir. Stand down!".

Instead he says "you don't need to follow him" ("but if you want to risk it that's ok!"???? Where is that statement from the dispatche???)

Self defense is not taking the law into your hands. He was attacked and had no choice.

As people say all the time in trials, it only takes the blink of an eye to premeditate murder and I think that is what GZ did with no warning.

GZ was charged with murder.

I agree with you - call the cops and report anything you think is suspicious in your neighborhood. Don't follow, don't pursue. I am certain RZ regrets doing that to this day. As far as having his weapon? He has a permit to carry, he is not in the wrong with carrying a weapon. All MOO.

I have issues when you go into neighborhood watch mode with a weapon. No issue with carrying or owning one, but he put himself in that capacity when he decided to investigate. Instead of calling and leaving it be, he went into a diff mode.

The can of iced tea added extra weight to Trayon? What I'm watching is a bad joke, right?
