I have to admit I am not looking forward to George being asked under oath if he had an affair or slept with the woman that says he told her that there was an accident [havent slept for 2 days again and for the life of me I cannot remember her name ]. With Cindy sitting there and the whole world watching, it will feel pretty icky .

My father recently died from cancer and I was very ,very sad about that loss. I can look at his pictures in our home every day and not cry about it. But if somebody asks about him, or I see his picture somewhere else, I tend to breakdown. I don't know why but it seems to work that way for me.

I revisited GA's visit with ICA. Knowing the OS now, it's a real eye opener. I recalled that GA asked Casey to speak with someone else and later in the visit he questioned about JB's being her attorney. Casey got emotional and really kept pushing to get out of jail to help. I really hope the SA can show this to the Jury so they actually 'see' her lying; especially after JB so kindly told everyone ICA knew Caylee died June 16, 2008.

Wow no way anyone would believe that GA had anything to do with either sexual abuse or Caylee's death.

GA knew that this interview being taped would be seen by everyone eventually, and even on TV as they had them on the NG Show all along.

When he said, "we want your daughter, our granddaughter home"......
he was well aware that this was not a personal conversation but rather one that thousands, would see.

Was he "on?"............Who knows for sure....I don't!
It really doesn't prove anything at all as to who is lying and who is telling the truth about family or the accusations.

When GA asks, "Will you speak with Scott?"......it does appear that he is trying to get info about Cayley that was not contrived in that part of the conversation, more to believe that he was not involved at all with Cayley's missing or death.
That part seems more convincing to me.

I think that one video with George DOES help him. Think about it. His daughter is now in jail facing murder charges. IF , and I say IF, he was involved, and IF, he was abusing her as a child, then he would have been worried about what she might do or say.
Given that, why would he ask her, ON CAMERA, if he had been a bad father in any way?

I would think that would be a dangerous question for a incestuous pedophile to ask on a prison camera.

And for her to say OH NO, YOU WERE THE VERY BEST FATHER---why would she do that on camera given the 'supposed' situation?

I think it is much more likely that he asked that because he wondered truly where he went wrong as a father.

He was so passive aggressive though imo! WHY isn't the state telling him to answer as simply as possible.. yes and no and direct answers only.

I'm sure George's own attorney told him this same thing. Simple answers, yes or no when possible, but George is just one of those people who can't give a yes or no answer. A co-worker of mine is like this, she is incapable of answering a simple yes or no question with just yes or no. She goes into a long drawn answer if you just ask her if she wants anything from Mc Donalds. George reminds me of her so much.

To keep the pretense of a "unit" of a family going, "one for all, and all for one" that they originally planned for. Remember in the beginning when Cayley was seen to truly be gone after all, the family "decided" to show the world a united front.

Besides, most kids who were sexually abused as children, at least myself and those I knew in group therapy,usually try to hide that as long as they possibly can from prying eyes.
She'd be into the fantasy of the perfect family for as long as she could pretend and that is quite common more then not to be really good at the denial of the ugly reality.

That's normal for incest survivors until they have a breakdown (small or large) or breakthrough I should say.

IMO, there is no way she'd want to be ALL alone, in that cell, with no family and even a poor substitute of a family is better then none at all for divulging family secrets, I would think, in her situation or mind.

I did read that thread.

She was using her phone on and off all day and it never left the home until after 4 pm on the 16th of june
George says She left at 12 with a cute description of what his grandaughter was wearing as she waved bye to him in the Driveway.

The phone waas really at her house texting and being used and GA really says she drove out of the driveway . These are not speculations

And very important.

According to LDB the cell phone pings show she never left the area after telling GA she was going to work, not the house. The camera panned over to GA and CA when she was talking about it.

here's a video with her parents, at about 5:30 til 6:00 Casey discribes her fathers processing style..reserved, think about things. i just thought it was interesting. Again she tells tell him he is a great dad in this video without any prompting. So why do that if she was going to accuse him of all this.

I know they all knew that this would be made public, but due to JB now admitting that Caylee died June 16 (well we all figured that) but if the Jury were to see these I think it would merit some consideration to what she's lying about now. imo

Seriously though, people process thoughts differently and a yes or no is not sufficient; they need to qualify it. I honestly believe he is unsure of what he's being asked and he's slightly hypersensitive to JB's motive (grant it, I would be too). JB needs to learn how to express himself better, maybe watch some of the trial videos himself, to see he just doesn't always make any sense. It may sound good in his head but on delivery the point is lost. I saw he did that with the Judge all thru the hearings.

But, imo, she was NOT being united with her family. She had gone rogue, run off, lied to them and everyone else. She was not being close to them or honest in any way at all.

I am also an incest survivor, and I do not believe she was a SA victim at all.
I think she made that all up. In her jail house letters she said it was only a vague notion, a dream like memory. And now suddenly, Baez has exact, explicit incidents to recount? He forced her to have oral sex at 13 but she had no memory a couple of months ago? That makes no sense because SUPPOSEDLY it was her fears from the abuse that made her cope in that ugly way. So how come she admits to having no memory of that just months ago?

I do not believe she would sit in jail for 3 years before making those accusations. I do not believe she would have left caylee in her dads care for all of those years.

I've always suspected that when she "fake left" for work that she would park almost exactly where poor Caylee was later found. She'd wait to see GA's car leave and she'd head right back home with Caylee in tow. I think she did something like this for the entire time (2 plus) years that she pretended to hava a job.

To come out of darkness and into the light of day, the reality being the light, one comes out a tiny step at a time.

The mind is a fantastically wonderful piece of our anatomy (the brain), because until something is in the best interest of the body itself, the mind will keep many events hidden from the conscious light of day until you can handle it better. I think some doctors label it as Post Trauma or a Syndrome like PTSS that people may endure. The subconscious mind is protective of it's body under it's care. It won't "shock" the body into immediate awareness of traumas necessarily if indeed it was suffered.
This is also why she probably said it was "like a dream" in her letter.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Casey A. is a very sick young woman.

But you cannot use 'recovered memory' syndrome with the Opening Statement given by the defense. She was reacting the way she did BECAUSE of her scary memories of her fathers abuse. So she cannot say she did not remember it then.

Even though I am a survivor of abuse, I still believe the accused should be given the benefit of the doubt. Just because somebody points the finger it does not mean they should automatically be believed. imoo

If the cell if pinging at the same tower then all they can tell is she was in the are. They would not be able to say positively she was not still at her house.

Unless the can tell how many feet she is from the tower ?

He testified he was a Det on the drug squad. In previous testimonies he worked in stolen cars. I don't believe he was ever a homicide detective nor has he ever said he was. :waitasec:

I know this may not be relevant. There was many posting about JB going on and on about the gas can and duct tape and that GA seemed evasive. I totally got it when GA brought up a 2nd picture and he just didn’t trust JB. Then the suicide letter GA writes ‘and Jose keeps calling’. Now I’ve posted before that I believed that Jose was maintaining far too much contact with Cindy regardless of George’s and their attorneys’ discouraging it.

Maybe what I’ve come with sounds peculiar but I’m going to share it.

When Casey tossed the gas cans at her dad there was no longer a plug in the spout. George places a nicely cut piece of duct tape on it.
Later in August LE pick-up that can and take pictures of it and then they return it to the A’s. As far as I know George wasn’t at home when they did.
In December, Caylee’s remains are found and there is Duct Tape on her face. LE picks up those gas cans again. George isn’t there. LE takes more pictures. This time the Duct Tape from the same roll is on the spout but much larger and placed sort of sloppily.

George states he didn’t put that large piece on the can. He seems to want to keep a distance from the tape itself and JB keeps at this line of questioning. Even asking GA when he cut the grass (recall the big Calendar) Cindy mentions in her testimony that George had told her to use some tape over the spout before you place it in the shed. Yet Cindy never states she placed the 2nd piece of tape on the cans. I don’t even know if she was asked that??

So what is with the gas cans?

The picture of the Search site shows the same type of tape on a Caylee poster. And Cindy is shown a picture of that Search table and asked if she recognizes an individual in it. She says she doesn’t, it’s too blurry or whatever. Posters in ws think it may have been Lee. As I recall further back there was speculation that Lee may have been the one who brought the tape from the A’s to use.

The idea that came to me is that Lee was helping out at the A’s home... in August thru to December and possibly cutting their grass. I think he did and then having tossed the small piece of tape to fill the mower, replaced it with the larger one when he put the can away.

The gas cans did not become an issue until after the body was found. So if he cut the grass sometime after the 1st time the cans were returned... then later they needed tape for the posters he very well could have been the one to bring that tape to the Search Site. Unbeknownst to him that it was part of the murder weapon of his niece. ** this is only an idea** I’m bringing this up because I am now wondering if in fact George and Cindy were protecting Lee from JB implicating him at all. Something that I think Jose would absolutely do or hold over them.

Another reason I came to this is due to JB asking about the dead pet cemetery ritual. Cindy states ‘I told you about this before’. Now why would Cindy tell Jose (remember ‘Jose keeps calling’) Cindy would never implicate George. Casey had to have told Jose first and then he confirmed it with Cindy. The only way I see Cindy telling him that is because she was told he was going to declare Caylee drowned...conveniently leaving out that he was going to blame George for disposing Caylee’s body or the crap about the molestation. Jeff Ashton said in a couple of the recent interviews they never heard about GA molesting Casey. Hmmmm so 6 weeks before Trial starts the A’s hear something the DT is going to say; I believe it was implicating George in disposing the body. I don’t even think the A’s were aware about the molestation theory.

I know it doesn’t matter much now since the verdict yet the trial gave us more to sleuth at what was going on behind the scene with the DT and A’s.

JB was trying to say that GA had put the tape on to implicate Casey.
They established in deposition when he got the cans back from ICA there was no tape. Then when the police retrieved them on Aug 1 they did. He didn't put it there.I guess ICA could have done it but he locked his shed back up. She was in jail from the 16th thru the Aug 1st. doesn't look kike she did it to him. but I will never say never. he did say ONLY Cindy knew where the key was. after 6/24/08
Casey had told CA years before about Lee touching her anyway if not GA.

I wish George had been able to somehow hold back his feelings and anger toward Baez and answer questions with a simple "yes" or "no". Of course Baez didn't mind if George rambled on, but it did not benefit George to do so; he came off as incredibly defensive (which I understand, but can see why some might take it as guilt) and wish he had just admitted to some kind of affair with RC or whatever her name is. Incredibly, she came off as more credible than GA, due to his denial, IMO. Poor George, I honestly feel sorry for him, even though at times I have entertained thoughts of him knowing long before Cindy did, that Caylee was dead (still think that, sometimes.)

I wish him well, but don't think it can happen unless he makes a run for it.
