:behindbar hey hey hey, screw the re-do's. From what I heard of the tapes, they were offered plenty of chances to gently change their story, that would have been a re-do. Lies in a murder case aint a re do unless it is your corrections officer telling you he is going to re-do the body cavity search. Thats a re do & its the only kind I wanna see. Could take a long time and many searches to be sure they have removed all those sticks they seem to have up their butts. And can you imagine what can be hidden with your panties in a wad. NO RE DO's :furious:

That was almost poetic! I like the way you think!

Hum, now why on earth would any of the family need it if they have done nothing wrong? I mean, according to Cindy, "mistruths" are not against the law. I don't think they should get it but then again, I dont have the facts. I want to be a fly on the wall so bad in that house, the lawyers office, the police dept, the jail............then again, if I were to become a fly, I would have to stand in shi!t all day & I dont wanna do that.

After stating (yet again) that the laws are very broad and general with respect to obstruction of justice, Lee's attorney made the statement that a parallel investigation could be seen by some as obstruction. That it could be considered to hinder LE's investigation. He did not say anything about tampering with evidence. So I think he was trying to say that Lee's immunity would cover anything he did during his "parallel investigation" - gathering info, talking to potential witnesses, perhaps looking at Casey's phone and pc, etc. Clearly we all knew he was doing his own snooping....we saw it in the jail videos. But we don't know the full extent of what he did - innocently or not.

Deal or No Deal?
Do you think the As are holding off funeral plans as a means to forestall proceedings against them? I hate thinking that, but I can't come up with any other logical explanation as to why they're delaying the "autopsy".

I imagine the delay in the second viewing of the skeletal remains (not an autopsy) is because the pro bono experts who would conduct the viewing are otherwise engaged.

GOOD QUESTION!!!!! I would think if the indictments are brought by the SA's office then that wouldn't matter. However, if FBI (ie: Federal) indictments are brought - well - those are a whole different animal. But if Federal indictments are bought they would have to be something along the lines of "wire fraud" or whatever dealing with the trust fund fiasco.

Maybe one of the legal eagles on here could shed more light.

Could there be separate federal charges, if they lied to the FBI agents, or obstructed FBI investigation? Weren't the feds brought in initially to investigate the "kidnapping"?

BTW, I did catch a little of that lady prosecutor on GR giving back lip to the THs. Something about KC doesn't stand a chance if JB sticks with the ZFG story, and the rest of the hoopla about the MR, etc. is meaningless if she can't prove her kidnapping story.

I don't want to think that might be true, so I'm going to ask this in hopes it might be true instead: Do the Anthony's really have much say at this point? I am thinking it is the defense team specifically holding up the autopsy.

I'm voting YES! Shame left a long time ago. It seems to be all about strategy.

I would doubt that...it only buys them a couple of weeks at best. The defense has not done their autopsy yet - which isn't that surprising considering the holidays. Perhaps the holdup with the defense doing the autopsy is in getting all the experts there. If they are having trouble scheduling their experts to come view the remains, that would cause delay. Or perhaps the delay is a Casey defense team tactic of some sort.

As long as Caylee was still "missing" I always felt the Defense would launch a "Miracle on 34th Street" tactic. Announce that they had found Caylee and she was just outside the courtroom doors. One juror turns to see, BAM, reasonable doubt. I honestly don't know what they are going to do now. Probably attack the MR, use the old nuts and 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 defense, slander everyone in a fifty mile radius...
It certainly will be interesting to watch them twist in the wind.
I can't believe I'm waiting around for GR....

They made it clear they are NOT working Pro Bono. They have signed an agreement with an unspecified party for non-disclosure of the person paying for the defense team according to Dr. Baden's wife during a recent interview on...get ready for it...you guessed it...Geraldo At Large!

I think the two go hand in hand...it benefits all camps. And screams desperation. Yippee!!!

So, do you think the benefactor is a news source or a movie company? (O/T) that JH has been busy supplying actual footage to compliment the made for tv movie? He seems to have been filming alot, like a video diary.

If the smell of trouble is in the air, it would be advantageous for all parties to wait and see. For all we know, POA could be in the hands of the As, and as far as the funeral is concerned they can let it be known they are not ready to proceed.

Oh wow, that's very likely, isn't it? Maybe Geraldo feels he could use this as a way to make people forget about the vault. :)

Stupid question here. Would they need to release the remains to KC?

My deal: Do you prefer Big Bertha or Heidi the hepatis girl as your bunk mate.
Do you prefer peter the pizzer as he likes to spray the walls as often as he can or Terry the Turd man. He has the largest measured crap known in the prison, he ejoys the punget aroma, says it kills the urine smell from peter.
So, we are showing we are opended minded in DEALING with our prisions by offering you your choice of roomies, the deal is yours.

To further harmony, we also offer a choice of under garments for men & woman. They look like grannie panties or loose drawers but they have a hidden band in the back that can be used to tighten so it makes your bumm look sexy OR feeling friskly, enjoy a good game of weggie. It wont even count towards your rec time.

I need a new job, I think I need to be in charge of "deals"
New definition of "banker"?

I wasn't saying that Geraldo was the one paying them. Only that she stated this while on his program during an interview. ;)

I don't think Geraldo has that much money as expensive as this case is going to get and the return won't be there as an investment for Fox to do it either, imo.

Fortunately, I don't think LE will buy into it. Let them play their strategic games. Justice for Caylee, first and foremost IMO.
