So....just watched the partially heartbreaking TVNow documentary. Although it contains some already known informations, some new, not so well known facts are included.
The clue for the prosecutors to got into focus of MN was one single picture he made of one of his victims, that had been found in 2007 in the case, when MN tried to blackmail another paedo. So he seems to have kept his trophies, what could be cruicial for actual investigations after examining his harddrives in 2017 IMO.
MN had a difficult childhood. His father was an agressive alcoholic, his mother had been very strict and her focus was in having a well-behaved boy.
At last one of his victims of abuse, who helped to recognize MN as the serial killer had the possibility in the past, to talk to MN, because he had some questions, to handle with the things that happened to him in the past. MN told him frank , that if the sister of the victim hadn't disturbed him whilst abusing the boy in his own home, that everything could have happened and they maybe wouldn't have that conversation right now.
Profiler Alexander Horn believes, that there could have been many more crimes and MN told by himself, that he was active not just in the known three-year-periods. MN even stated, that he suffocated/strangled some of his victims whilst playing with them, what the profiler does not believe. He also rented the holiday home in Denmark for a second time, after killing one of his victims there. They also believe, that he abused they boy over the three days, what MN still denies until today.

at his hardrives had been found in the blackmailing-case. At least from 2006 and on, he frequented paedo-sites on the net a lot to live out his fantasies.
Norbert Nedopil, appraiser at his trial believes that MN really liked kids, although he abused and killed them. Together with Horn, they said that MN is a very calculating person. He planned everything he did, without confessing to that until now.
Some new footage of MN was shown, pics and video and a short link to little Jonathan has been made. The show has been interesting at all, but nothing that new at last, that could raise a discussion.
Nothing more to say about it.
