''On June 2, 1997 in a wooded area in Altena-Bergfeld, Germany a young woman was found.

She had been raped, strangled and set on fire, while she was still alive. Post-mortem exams showed that the crime was committed by the father of the victim. He did all efforts to hide her identity.

• Dentals: Available. Her teeth were in good condition and she had obviously received excellent dental care. One of her upper incisors had an adhesive point on it which had been attached in a professional way by creating corrosion. It was concluded that the victim might have worn some sort of ornament, possibly a diamond-like imitation with a diameter of about 2mm. Investigators believe that the ornament was deliberately removed during the crime.''

I know looks are nothing. But she looks North African, maybe Tunisian or Moroccan to me. There is a large North African community in Germany. Many are light skinned. I attended primary school with many Moroccan girls and they were actually lighter than me. Since it is a multiethnic country, you find all skin colors in Morocco from Sub Saharan to Middle Eastern olive toned to very light.

• Location: Germany: Altena forest area, Altena-Bergfeld, Hemecker Weg.
• Sex: Female
• Estimated year of birth: 1975 - 1979
• Estimated age: Between 18 and 22 years old
• Height: Petite figure, 153-157 cm and weighing about 45 kg
• Skin tone: Fair
• Hair color: Red-brown to dark
• Eye color: Dark
• Clothing: The woman was wearing no clothing when she was found. Blue and grey cotton fibres were found which could have belonged to the woman but it is not sure. The woman’s shoe size was 33-35.
• Tattoos, birth marks, scars: Unknown
• Jewelry: On one of the upper incisors (tooth 12), a round adhesive surface was found, which had been professionally applied after etching. The victim probably wore a tooth gem in the form of a diamond-like rhinestone (mass-produced article) with a diameter of approx. 2 mm. Traces in the adhesive surface indicate that the stone was most likely removed as part of the crime.

The case​

On Monday 2 June 1997, a naked female body was found in a wooded area in Altena-Bergfeld. The victim had been raped, strangled and then set on fire.

The place where the body was found is not consistent with the place where the crime was committed so it is believed that the victim was moved from an unknown location.

The perpetrator tried hard to eliminate any chance of identification. Checks of the fingerprints taken from the victim were negative.

Characteristics​

The woman probably wore a tooth gem, a diamond-like rhinestone (commercially available mass product) on her right upper incisor (tooth 12). It cannot be ruled out that she wore braces until the age of 12. The victim's toenails were painted red.

I’m not even from Germany and this case horrifies me to no end. That poor young lady. I hope she’s resting peacefully now. That’s horrific what happened to her.

It's too hard to keep track for LE,schools etc.
Relatives easily say "Ohh,she is not missing,she married to a man in her country,or she is living with relatives"

However,I do think she is younger,given her shoe size and height.

Makes one wonder,why Europe didn't change the law, immediately!

It's too hard to keep track for LE,schools etc.
Relatives easily say "Ohh,she is not missing,she married to a man in her country,or she is living with relatives"

However,I do think she is younger,given her shoe size and height.

I wouldn’t immediately say younger based on height. I’m 157 cm and I’m on the older end of teens, think 16-19. I’m completely done growing. I’m Russian and Ukrainian descent and most of my family is a bit taller. But I also have FAS so there’s that. She could just be short. I’m just short for my age but I also have fetal alcohol syndrome as I said so that could be a factor. If she is North African in descent that may explain her size too. I’ve met a few people of Middle East and N. African descent who are a little shorter.

My feet have been done growing since around my 16th birthday. I’m a bit late hitting puberty. I’m a female (obviously, I’ve never met a male named Emilia. XD) so a little earlier than it would happen in males. I’m still in some stages of puberty, just height and limb growth has stopped. Again, I’m under 20, between 16 and 19, not giving my age out for privacy reasons. Those are pretty small feet for someone who is about 155 cm tall. She was probably a young girl now that I think about it, about 12-15.

So I’m more like a 37.5? I’m between a 7 and 7.5 US but there’s nothing between those. I fit better in a 7 but sometimes it’s too small yet the 7.5 is too big.
