Well that does sound as if he might have been drugged, or maybe something medical going on? He behaved like someone with dementia or Alzheimers, in the bar and also later in Buxtehude, if that was really him. Not saying he has Alzheimers but possibly other medical conditions can have similar symptoms. jmo
There's nothing in the description of his behaviour that couldn't be accounted for just by alcohol. Because it's legal we tend to forget that it's actually a powerful neurotoxin and does nasty things to the brain.
The UK has a booze problem, and unfortunately Scotland's is worse than that of the rest of the country. Stag and hen parties not only get drunk, they generally get smashed out of their skulls.
Obviously if the body reported to have been found turns out to be Liam's the tox screen will clarify what exactly he had in his system when he died. The other question to my mind was whether the group or some members of it had taken any illegal drugs that night but haven't wanted to admit it. Combining various illegal drugs with a lot of booze really ain't a good idea.
