JUSTICE SENATOR STEFFEN (GREENS, HAMBURG) PROHIBITED SEARCH

Bild.de
http://www.bild.de/regional/hamburg...-mutmasslichem-attentaeter-49447382.bild.html

Justice -senator Till Steffen (43, Greens) has prevented the police for over 12 hours from searching for Berlin's suspected terrorist Anis Amri (24) on their Facebook page. Only after a call from BILD yesterday a "one-time exception approval" was given.

A Justice Senator is a Secretary of Justice at the level of a Bundesland.
The one in Hamburg is apparently rather terrorist-friendly, allowing a twelvefold murder ample time to go into hiding.

Is this since Monday??

PICTURES OF AMRI TAKEN AFTER THE ATTACK

Bild.de
http://www.bild.de/news/inland/terrorberlin/polizei-filmte-amri-nach-anschlag-49457644.bild.html

Police were observing a mosque and took these pictures of Amri.
At the time, they did not know it was him, and they wrongly believed that the attacker had already been caught (but that was the wrong one.)

So here is Amri, within shooting distance. He does not look wounded, nor scratched. He looks totally unaffected.

Correction: these pictures were taken earlier (as can seen by the date on the picture). The pictures taken in the night after the attack are different ones.

Berlin-Moabit is a known salafist haven, probably why they were filming this mosque.
Berlin-Kreuzberg and Neukölln are mostly Turkish quarters and there are not many problems except for small-crime but Moabit is a neighbourhood with a huge Arab population and I wonder if they raided just how many illegal people and people on watchlists (who of course are allowed to walk free ) they would find.

NIGHT OF THE ATTACK

Does Amri looked wounded or hurt? IMHO not that much.

-This is a mess. Hard for many to do , forget terrorist. not that he is not one. He is a criminal deviant. Peroid.

People e make mistakes Goct has messed this up.. But when we get into how unlawful he has been, and what he did, it becomes truly scary.

The fear is compounded by the ineptitude thus far. I truly doubt that any of us believe his end wish is not gonna be death.

Makes this all worse - fearless.

It actually gets (but it is so confusing- cause having a gun and hijacking a 18 wheeler, I would think could take 8 minutes. So its not like this big elaborate deal - makes it more scary )IMO

As time passes our options expand.

Is he hurt to where the rest of the world is safe?

Is he planning?

When and where is he gonna act?

Is he stable?

Running over people in a 18 wheeler - if that is the starting point, can not imagine what his next move might be - seeing how fast it was actually going is really horrid.

I hope its all wrong that the hijacked guy was alive,

The video that came out in Nice, was awful. It was the noises of hearing people smash into the truck.

If he was alive my god what must that sound like in the cab?

I wish he would just kill himself, and that's not a thought a therapist has trust me.

In a horrible way I wish people would just stay home. I think that is cause of Dec 25 coming- that's a real target - there have been 5 events in the last week- so obviously the holiday is a great target in their minds.

Stay home - something is coming - they knew this before Monday- he is loose so all this we are not gonna let him stop us is all awesome rhetoric and all that jazz but it is not realistic

He might well be hiding there. Best place is still among friends, isn't it?
One of the terrorists who attacked the Bataclan and other locations in Paris went into hiding in his hometown of Molenbeek. He was staying at a short distance from his old home and every inhabitant of Molenbeek who was Muslim knew about it.

Two British people are among the 48 injured during the deadly truck attack in Berlin, the Foreign Office confirmed on Friday.

A British Foreign Office Spokesman told media in London two British nationals had been caught up in the attack on Monday.
“We are in close contact with the German authorities following a suspected terrorist attack in Berlin earlier this week,” he said.
“We have assisted two British nationals caught up in the attack and are ready support any more British nationals if needed.
“We continue to advise any British nationals in the area to remain vigilant and follow the advice of local authorities.”
Two US citizens are among the injured as well.
The US State Department did not offer any more information on the pair but said it was working with German authorities.

Family members confirmed to ABC News that Richard Ramirez of San Benito, Texas, remained in a Berlin hospital Thursday. He is in stable condition after having emergency surgery for injuries sustained in the attack. His partner of 18 years, a German citizen, was killed, family members said. The other injured American, Russell Schulz, is also from Texas. The church in Austin where he taught for several years issued a statement Thursday on the news of his injury.
"We are shocked to learn that our friend and former colleague Russell Schulz, beloved professor emeritus of Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, was injured in this week's attack in Berlin," said The Very Rev. Cynthia Briggs Kittredge, Dean and President of the Seminary of the Southwest. "Our community is deeply saddened by the violence, grateful that Russell is alive, and mournful for those who were killed and their families. We pray that the peace that is promised by the coming celebration of Christmas will be known throughout the world.”
The market was packed at lunchtime on Thursday, with the usual aromas of curry wurst and mulled wine. As Germany's Der Spiegel wrote today, "Berliners apparently react the same way they always react when something is going on: They are completely unimpressed."

I just do not know, I think they are waiting for the 25th

I posted tonight in the threats thread that multiple explosions were planned in Australia on Christmas Day multiple arrests have been made. What's worrying me is an attack on a church at midnight or day mass somewhere.

7:34 is when it was driven with purpose, lights were turned off before the attack.

Humm strange Sky news is airing his family members talking about this. I know this sounds chicken but if one of my sisters did this, I would be afraid to go on global TV and tell her you have shamed us.

He is obviously not well! I really would not want to upset him!!

The papers in the cab bug me. Unless he was planning on trying to leave Germany afterwards??

OR??

maybe he believed that he thought he might die, that this was a suicide mission, the papers in the cab are indicators IMO that he wanted to be known.

I dont really understand how he would think he could die, running people over in an 18 wheeler is different than wearing suicide vests.

But the papers, now that we know how deviant he was, and for how long he behaved this way-he just does sound like he would be "concerned" about not having papers on him.

SKy news also had a recent video of him. He does not look anything like the pics we have seen. Nothing. Face is much slimmer, . Did not look like that in any pics seen so far

Here is the video - does he look like any of thepics you have seen?/
