Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 3 murders, July 2023

Joel was a very disorganized serial killer. His kills were not always planned out. Some days he’d patronize multiple sex workers and spare some and kill the last. He was a literal mess emotionally and lived in constant fear of being caught and even tried to “curb” his urges but obviously that didn’t work out. I fear RH is much more dangerous of a killer and don’t know if he will be as cooperative w LE as Joel.

Agree that RH is not likely to be cooperative -- unless it suits his purpose. He may pretend he's cooperating and giving information to be helpful but the entire purpose is to "take credit" for his work, to show the public how smart he was in planning and carrying out his work. I wonder how quickly he would set the record straight if one of his victims "was given" to someone else? Plus, RH already needs to talk about this case. Has for years. He may feel compelled just to talk.

Please correct me if I have this wrong, but my understanding is the DNA in Maureen's case was degraded more than with the other cases and is taking longer to process. I think we will see charges against RH for Maureen's death soon enough.

Unfortunately, her phone records were not obtained when they should have been and are no longer available --- if I am recalling the Bail Application correctly. I believe you're right about the DNA for her, so maybe IF there is enough DNA remaining for a read anywhere down the line, it can be used. OR maybe, with all the searches, evidence will be found to make charging RH for her murder also possible.

Good point! We don't know what items obtained from the search warrants will tie him to what. They are taking so much, it seems! The case against him will be tied up (pun fully intended).

I'm with you. People that love to talk don't usually just stop. His options will dwindle once he is faced with prison time. No more architectural jobs to talk about. No more people to share your building code knowledge with. No more networking meetups to socialize in. No more "dates". I feel like theres a chance he's going to get infatuated with telling his own story.

My humble opinion is that people who solicit sex workers are generally not "lookers" themselves. This is the only way they get what they want. But I've never ever done that, so I might be ignorant who goes to them.

I think it's pretty normal to believe that, but attractive people use sex workers as well, for as many reasons as there are people. Busy life, unsatisfying relationship, socially awkward, or even just an unfulfilled fantasy.

I honestly don't know the rhyme or reason as to where they get sent aside from security level, mental health needs. I had heard they would send them to Clinton(Little Siberia) to freeze and be far away from everyone because its almost Canada. There are some BAD people in there, google/take a look at the wiki for it.

I’ve been trying to figure that out. Looks it has a spare tire on the back. A jeep? Between the truck and this, I am convinced he had a 4x4 fishing permit (sorry to fixate on this)which would give him access to miles of off-the-beaten path driving off Ocean Parkway and other LI beaches. I am a permit holder myself, for years. I am very familiar with these areas and these areas would have been ideal for a SK. Remote, desolate. I have been there alone many times.

It's been almost seven years since I've posted here. If she was an escort, which I believe she is inferring, it does ring true. Another poster was posting about Google maps images of a truck, back a page or so and I just wanted to jump in on this. When the Gilgo 4 bodies were first located in December 2010 many posters (myself included) looked at archived Google maps images and found one or two where there was a dark truck parked along Ocean Beach Parkway near the site. It was very similar to Heuermann's truck. I've been searching the old old posts on the original LISK forum but there were thousands of posts/multiple threads and I've not found that yet.

RH seems extremely egotistical. I believe he's salivating, chomping at the bits and will eventually talk. He's proud of his sick accomplishments. Why else when being arrested would someone ask, "is this on the news?"
There's no doubt he has a hatred of women but I think there is something much more deep seeded than we have so far into who he really is.

He was also seen with Amber the day before she went missing and I believe he texted prior regarding the whole "scam" thing with Dave & Bear, stating "that was not nice" what she did. This means she was with him prior?

If so, he's established a rapport and a familiarity w her thus she felt somewhat safe around him in order to go back and meet up w him again!

RH probably told her under NO circumstances that she speak of whom she was meeting that night Sept 2.

He obviously waits for his victims at night when their at their weakest mind set (high, drinking etc) and then makes his move. And we can only speculate w an enormous gun collection and his delusional and sadistic mind, he goes hunting. He stalks not only his victims but their families as well.

I believe he may be worse than the BTK in terms of torture.

If he's involved w Cherrie's death and the death of her baby, I truly hope they find the evidence because he needs to pay for all he's done, including Maureen's death and rot in hell.

This monster is sick.

It looks to be a Ford M151. Both RH and CH seem to possess military vehicles. We know RH has an extensive cache of weapons. Wonder if CH does as well. (Credit for this image goes elsewhere)
