The food stamps threw me off as well, but I'm curious if they were allowed food stamps due to the adult stepson being disabled?
It was all about the verbage, I have questions .

Also from the article:

"Brass said she never went to the police with her suspicions about Heuermann because she said she did not have any concrete evidence against him — and on top of that, she was on parole for a drug conviction at the time.

“I’m a felon and had a history and didn’t want to get involved with cops,” Brass explained. “I think he went after girls who were addicts or had a record, or anyone less likely to talk to police.”
100% believe this was his attitude and part of the reason why he still killed Amber Costello despite the fact that her roommate met him and was able to give a description to the police of him and his car. I mean seriously, he didn’t even use a rental car. He was brazen and probably didn’t think the guy would talk to the cops.

I have been living in the area for over 25 years and spend a decent amount of time on boats in the area. ITS SO RARE to see people hunting there. Even though its technically legal to shoot your guns off the boats . The one time we did it "karens" had the cops there fast. NY gun laws are constantly found unconstitutional and make zero sense half the time. Also, Long Island is heavily populated. The cops told us to be careful or go into the actual Atlantic.

Below is a map of where duck hunting is even legal on long island. As you will see most of the areas its permitted are on the less populated eastern end. Only the babylon marsh is a legal hunting area near the bodies. Getting a permit for that are is hard (supply/Demand).
Red Circle is Massapequa. Red x is near bodies. Interesting enough, there's much more hunting areas Near Manorville than near gilgo/Massapequa.

how about clamming? then he could be out with a shovel.... are the shellfish polluted? I guess as a planner, he could pre-dig a grave which would make the dumping act fast- not sure if he would need a tide chart too. He could also try to figure out the times there were patrols if they were not random and go out to avoid them, or go out in bad weather with bad visibility but not sure if that would have attracted police to a vehicle, thinking some one was in distress.

am also wondering if he had a friend with a boat or one he borrowed....LE does not seem to have focused on boats at all which makes me doubt it but maybe it is just an aspect they have not revealed. Curious if he had waders....

Not sure about the clamming thing ,but to springboard off your ideas..
As a planner do you think he drew outlines of his crimes ,either before or after if something he planned failed ( a rework that had to have visual stem. ) ..is he a person that has to have a guideline or map? or is he confideent in his self to not need those tokens?
I may be in manic mode today ...any people with helpful hints on that issue please send them to a conversation I need to hear ,please and thank you !

They were seen taking a life jacket but it’s Long Island and a pretty common thing to find but I’m curious as well about the possible water aspect Cat and creepy pictures seized from Gilgo Beach suspect's home

Here is a PERSONAL VIDEO of my drive down to the beach off Ocean Parkway. Located east of Gilgo and west of Oak Beach. Permits are required and only given to 4X4 vehicles for fishing and surfing, only. Nowadays, it gets crowded on weekends during the season (May-Sept). But midweek and especially at night, it has happened to me often that I was there alone. Back in the 90’s and early 2000 it was a hidden gem!

I'm

I was skeptical, too... not so much that she might have gone on a "date" with the guy, but that he shared details of the murders with her. Would you please share the articles that changed your mind about her story? I'm super curious!
Just the NY Post article, but I don’t think someone would come forward admitting publicly that they had a felony record, a drug addiction and were escorting unless they are being truthful. I don’t know if he shared much detail but I find it interesting that he brought up LISK with this girl, just like he did with the young interior designer that he had met through a networking group in Manhattan. He must’ve gotten off seeing the reactions of these women when the then-unsolved murders were brought up, I’m sure it was an incredible power trip for him to know he was “known” to everyone, especially these women without being KNOWN. Sick.

The fact that she originally shared her story on Tiktok is what made me a little suspect

Looking at a new dataset today. This one is an FBI unsolved dataset. Unfortunately it is not so granular as to show heights. I've limited the analysis to: age 17-28; female; strangulation or suffocation MO; NY, SC, NV (due to RH properties); 1990 onwards. Not sure why 2011 is the latest.

Do you think he is likely to end up there?
I do. Upstate New York is Siberia for inmates and I hope he's miserable every single day.

Reading over the court documents and something about the [email protected] burner email seemed off to me. To preface, I am not trying to make any direct connections between the GB4 and any other cases, but I hope you see my thought process and maybe something to keep in mind as more information is released.

What initially caught my attention was the use of “springfieldman” after watching/reading about the AC/Eastbound Strangler case. In the AC case one of the suspects, Eldred R. Burchell, was going around town telling people he was the AC killer and was calling himself the “Riverman”. Some have suspected this was in homage to the Green River Killer, however it's important to note Burchell has never been formally connected to the Eastbound victims. That said, the moniker “Riverman” has stuck throughout the years.

So why is Springfieldman relevant? My first thought is maybe it's a location and sure there are plenty of cities/towns named Springfield in the US, but I’ve only come across one that has a strong serial killer connection.. Springfield Mass. Alfred Gaynor is a convicted serial rapist and killer who murdered 9 women in Springfield from 1995-1998. So now I’m thinking, did RH use “Springfieldman9” as homage to Gaynor for the 9 women he killed? That alone could be pure coincidence, but then I learned Gaynor makes and sells artwork from prison.

One piece of his artwork really caught my attention entitled “Murder Beach” (about 1/2 way down the article) drawn 12/9/2008. All of Gaynor’s murders happened far from the ocean and sure the most likely scenario is these are just the bad drawing of a crazy man… but this apparent connection with the burner email plus the fact that Maureen Brainard-Barnes was missing and most likely killed/dumbed at Gilgo Beach prior to this drawing and some of the artwork we’ve seen come out of RH’s house in addition to the known research RH has done on his own case raises a question in my head… Has RH ever been in contact with Gaynor, was this drawing a request or at least inspired by any potential communications RH had with Gaynor. At the minimum, I believe RH must have researched/learned from publicly available information on Gaynor to improve his own crimes.

Curious if anyone else has come across any potential connections between RH and other serial killers either through communications or moniker usage such as Springfieldman9? If I am being a complete idiot and reading too much into things please tell me lol.

Red ex's are the gilgo 4. I Marked in green knows clamming spots that i have used and that are known to others. the one closest to the bodies is known as hemlock cove. There's a big boat party called hemstock happens every year int he summer. 100 to 150 boats full of young people go park their boats and party about 300 yards from where the bodies were found.

This is a terrible pick. But these is hemlock cove during "hemstock" i have clammed here a bunch of times just using my feet to feel them. I have clammed during hemstock even.

I’m honestly surprised that they were eligible for food stamps given that he has a well-paying job. Here in GA I got denied trying to apply for food stamps a few years ago; I don’t own my own house and definitely don’t have a well-paying job like an architect. Must be different in NY, although I’m curious as to how much of his money went to help support his family and whether or not his wife had any idea of how much he was actually making.

JMO
If he was committing tax fraud and owed so much in back taxes, and faking injuries from manufactured accidents, and was using his step-son's disability to further the financial fraud schemes, it doesn't surprise me that he found a way to "qualify" for assistance. Maybe his wife, using her maiden name, qualified on her own having a son with a disability. But, what a great way to mingle in the food stamps (early on) and EBT cards (later on) when he would steal them from the women he killed, assuming they had them in their purses/wallets. Just an opinion, but the guy wasn't honest about much.

This is awsome.
Probably only helpful for seeking funding though. IMO and not to be mean either. It's too narrow and targets the most likely age subset to be murdered in America at this time. It is not helpful to the overall case at all.

I am having some trouble uploading photos right now so maybe someone else can post them. Did anyone else notice a resemblance to Melissa Barthelemy and the painting they removed? Might be way off but wanted to know your thoughts? JMO

ETA pictures
I see a resemblance.

I'm wondering if he was just fond of the Springfield 9mm handguns.

In my opinion, this is a reference to the Springfield M1903 rifle. Which was the standard issue rifle for the US military from 1903 to 1936. Its a great rifle and clean examples are highly sought after by gun collectors.
