About Asian Doe, I am wondering, has anybody made a sketch of what they might have looked like as female?

This doe was found wearing women’s clothes. There is a very good chance they presented as female in life. I have to wonder if the current existing sketch is not a good likeness.

I was just saying on another possibly transgender Doe thread that it's a shame Asian Doe wasn't found in Georgia... Kelly has done an amazing double reconstruction for that Georgia Doe, one feminine presenting, one masculine. It should be done with all Does where the gender/s they presented as in life is ambiguous, often because the clothing or grooming is in contrast to what the body or skeleton has to say to the medical examiner. It's the way forward if we're going to start getting these Does recognised by those who knew and loved them, which is the whole point of creating a reconstruction. DNA is really important, but creating something someone can look at and say, 'that's my loved one' hasn't gone the way of the dinosaurs, yet.

What about if HE went away? IMHO, I think it’s very possible that the girls in AC were victims of RH, and that their murders took place in AC. RH could have gone there for a night or two while his family was at home in Massapequa Park. God only knows what he was capable of in and around Manhattan.

He definitely pounced on the opportunity to lure the Gilgo victims to his home when his family was away. It was probably an absolute thrill to him to have these girls in his home, on his turf, in his control. But I don’t know if he could control the urge not to kill when his family wasn’t away. He just had to find another place to do it.

My personal thought: with covid around the last few years, his family probably didn’t travel much, if at all. I know what the media has said about why they moved in on him when they did, however, I truly believe his wife and children were getting ready to go out of town and LE knew he was gearing up to bring a new victim into the home.

I certainly hope the new task force did or will revisit Johnny Terry and we will finally know whether the killer called him over 30 times or not. The details of the calls from Melissa's phone and those burner phones would certainly show if these calls occurred and the phone's location at the time of the calls, if they really happened.

The way this case was originally handled is disgusting. Did SCPD ever follow up on the client's description and the Avalanche lead from DS and did they really go to the home, in LI, where Johnny Terry said he would drop Melissa? Why did they never inform the public about the pattern on the burlap being Camo, or give a general description of the Avalanche and the man driving the Avalanche. Is it possible that Burke didn't want the public's help? Perhaps, he knew the suspect because they ran in the same circles?

The Atlantic City victims were all killed in a very tight window of time - October to November, with the final one being killed likely only a day before they were found. Unless RH could explain away a trip to AC every two weeks or so, I think it's more likely the AC victims were killed by someone living local, for those two months, at least.

The way they were posed and displayed is meticulous, yes, and the GB4 were equally meticulously positioned but it IMO feels like a very precise, clear signature that would have had to change significantly to morph into how the GB4 were left. The AC4 being immersed in water, facedown, barefoot, facing east, all means something profoundly important to their killer, and we see none of that with the GB4, who were left bound, nude, wrapped in burlap, and on the shore, safely out of reach of all but the highest of tides driven by storms. The parallel line of bodies at intervals is about the only direct commonality I'm seeing from the public information available.

Cause of death is similar, but strangulation isn't uncommon as a method of homicide.

EDIT: If the GB4 had been found facedown and barefoot in the marsh they found Shannan in, then you can bet I'd be far less doubtful about a connection. But even Shannan, for all that she was found barefoot in an area of brackish water, was found faceup.

We believe that yes she was a SW. Why would he say it ? Because he was reliving killing them while chatting, while at the same time telling her she did not matter either. He did her a favor by alerting her to his creepiness. I think she was very smart to not meet him at his house or go back there with him after the “Date”. From the article

It’s a very small village where you have to park in hourly pay lots that are mostly monitored by village constables. There are also street cameras all over. RH would stick out like a sore thumb there, especially with a much younger companion. But the most obvious reason that she is not reliable is because she mentioned that they met at a seafood restaurant and had a drink. In 2014/2015 the only seafood type restaurant was the Steamroom. It’s more of a fast food type (nicer than fast food but you order at a counter and serve yourself) restaurant, back then they didn’t serve alcohol, there is no bar. The seating is outside and in the wide open. The next designated seafood restaurant didn’t open until 2019.
