When Morrie uses the words "a friend of ours", he must mean someone from their group, website, etc. Someone everyone knows, but Morrie leaves out his name for obvious reasons.

What "friend of ours" is Morrie possibly talking about?

Based on my research of UtopiaGuide threads, which I can't link to here, Morrie is the owner of LongIslandErotic.com (the site where the threat against Amber was initially made) as well as a member of a group called the CCC. This group also includes these members:

- teps
- lightweight
- wolf
- billyS
- magicfingersny

One member of the CCC claims that the group regularly uses "backchannels" to communicate with each other outside of the main bulletin boards. My research suggests that this is an e-mail distribution list and Private Messaging through LongIslandErotic.com

They meet up to visit strip clubs, particularly on the Edison Strip in West Babylon, and they review their experiences with different "providers".

They post publicly on the UG boards to share their experiences with non-group members, but it seems much of their communication is over e-mail and private message.

One of their group members, magicfingersny, was kicked out of the CCC group in late 2008. MagicFingersNY claimed that someone from another board (presumably LongIslandErotic.com) had been making physical threats against him, which he claimed "were prosecutable".

We believe that yes she was a SW. Why would he say it ? Because he was reliving killing them while chatting, while at the same time telling her she did not matter either. He did her a favor by alerting her to his creepiness. I think she was very smart to not meet him at his house or go back there with him after the “Date”. From the article

Regarding the alleged 200+ guns/weapons found in Heuermann's basement, I live in a Southern state and know a few gun dealers, and not one of them has anything NEAR 200+ weapons in their stock/collections. I mean, 200+ guns/weapons is just crazy!

One member of our gun club has upwards of 3000 guns (mostly rare Winchester lever actions) in his basement. He's been collecting for more than 50 years.

Yes. A little over a year ago, select officers from the Suffolk County Sheriff's Department Corrections became part of the task force. My husband is a Corrections Officer in the Riverhead jail where RH is currently spending his time, and although my husband was not on the task force, we are close to one of his co-worker that were. Adding the Sheriff's Department was a smart choice IMO, as there is a lot of intel gained from prisoners that have all the time in the world and not much of a social life.

If the goal was to get her to his house, I think so. She kept on talking about how he insistently asked her to go back to his house from the restaurant “to continue the date”. She seemed reluctant at the restaurant to go with him, so why would he reveal his nasty side if the ultimate goal was to get her to come to his house? That would be pretty stupid wouldn’t it? But she finally gave in and said she would go to his house IF she could drive her in her own car, even though he kept asking her to leave her car parked there and ride in his car and “ghosted” him driving directly home. I’m sure he’s been burnt by many of these girls like this and knew how to “behave” until he got them in the privacy of his home.

But the whole point of making arrangements with SW is not having to try. It’s a financial arrangement and done. He wouldn’t have to work this hard and I doubt he would engage in doing so.
