Don't know the exact date, but was pretty quick
On his LinkedIn page, have seen articles posted about his arrest etc. but not much that he's posted/liked/commented on

moo but others here may have seen more?
Does it keep the dates in the waybackmachine? Maybe that’s worth a shot.

yes, saliva from a piece of pizza crust is a good DNA sample.. but a mouth swab is the best.

Just a side note: when I look at him, I just don't see the "typical" serial killer.... but then again, maybe there is no such thing as a typical one.

But people that met him said he would stare them down and very confrontational and menacing especially to women.
@Justice101 I totally agree that I don’t see a typical serial killer when I look at him but also tend to think there is no prototype for what a serial killer looks like. If I had encountered Ted B or Israel Keyes back in the day I don’t think their looks would have alarmed me either.
Also, IME/IMO, There are so many men in business on Long Island /NYC and elsewhere lol, that are condescending to women. If every man that tried to intimidate a woman in business was a serial killer - there would be a ton of bodies lying around and absolute mayhem! JMO.

You are amazing! Just downloaded Google Earth and now I’m combing through it. I was able to eventually find the structure, but even when I zoomed in it’s still a little hard to tell.
Thanks for doing it, I'm technically really challenged plus dire low net speed.
Look for buildings close to a parking space, beach area in general?
even if they are now demolished they may still yield evidence.
worth a shot.

I logged into LinkedIn, and I checked his page.

There's a "Nothing to See Right Now" message for his activities.

Where I live Victim’s Assistance would have assisted housing.
NYS does have a Office of Victim Services (OVS). This fund is used when all other means of compensation have been exhausted. Workers Compensation, Health Insurance, Car Insurance, Homeowner's Insurance have been exhausted. I believe AE has to find out if her family qualifies.

Not sure whether Sheryl is referring to the Gilgo or the AC murders. I have not heard that the Gilgo vics were placed in a specific direction, but the Atlantic City victims were placed facing east, not north.
Ocean Parkway runs North/South or South/North. Basing it off of the direction and the conditions at Gilgo Beach, the suspect got out of his car, walked a short distance to the bramble which I must say is so thick and thorny he wouldn't have gone further than that before throwing the bodies into the bramble. They wouldn't have been displayed out on the beach because I don't think RH lingered around after disposal.

That's not the impression I got.. but I could be wrong.. other cases referenced on that site did not match what we know but there are so many.. the Gilgo are the tip of the iceberg and probably so is RH..
The website the OP referred to only has 3 things on it, one thread being "Peaches", and clicking on that topic takes you to a single post that says "Peaches is most likely Marie Catherine". Marie being the mother of the child they attached the link to, I assumed they were looking for thoughts on that topic.

I agree Gilgo is just the tip of a very large iceberg and Rex is about to sink like the Titanic. MOO

I know when you pay court fines in NYS, one of the surcharges that is tacked onto almost every fine is a Crime Victims Assistance Fee, so the OVS and the CVAF must go hand-in-hand

On Oct. 10, 1991, 12-year-old Tiffany Dixon vanished after dropping off her younger cousin at an elementary school in Carroll Gardens. She never made it to her seventh-grade class several blocks away.

The online true crime site “Murder Incorporated” noted that Tiffany Dixon lived on Hart Street in Bushwick. Eight months after her disappearance, Rex Heuermann filed a request to do work on a property located at 689 Hart Street, up the block from where Dixon was living with her aunt and cousin.

Two weeks later, on Oct. 30, 1991, the body parts of a Park Slope woman, Sandra Acosta, were discovered at a weeded lot near the Gowanus section of Brooklyn. Her two hands, feet, arms and legs were found, along with her head. Her torso was never recovered.

“Somebody set out to do this,” Luz Carrion said in 1991, “not only to her but other people because there’s a lot of young girls missing, about three others. Same color hair, about the same height, weight, same area. The other girl is three blocks away from here, Tiffany.”

Luz Carrion referred to the missing Tiffany Dixon, who was never found.

Sandra Acosta was slim and petite, standing only about 4 feet eleven inches tall.
Is it possible “Peaches” is the missing torso in this case? Forgive me I’m new here so my timelines may be off. I have a-lot it reading to catch up on ‍♀️

Peaches torso was found separate from the rest of her in a Rubbermaid tub in Hempstead Lake Park

Welcome, btw!! The Gilgo Beach Serial Killings Wikipedia page gives a decent synopsis of everything in one quick read, IMO

Hopefully this question comes across how it is intended, (I DO consider Rex's wife and children to be victims of HIS crimes).

Would his immediate family qualify for the "Victim's Compensation Program" if they were not direct victims of a crime in a legal sense? i.e. they weren't injured, robbed, etc directly by Rex in a prosecutable sense? Reading the site regarding the fund makes it seem like they wouldn't qualify for this specific program, but maybe there are others?

Ocean Parkway runs along the Atlantic ocean in Brooklyn just as shown by maps of OP in Gilgo Beach? So what am I missing? If I'm wrong I stand corrected, but it makes me wonder that the Atlantic is easterly which makes Ocean Parkway North/South?

I do stand corrected. I was looking at a map along Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn, not Long Island which is East/West.

Ocean Parkway runs from the Meadowbrook Parkway (to the west) to Captree State Park (to the east).

''Heuermann worked on construction and renovation projects in New York City, an employee of his Nexstar’s WPIX. Damien Richards, who was hired in 2020, said that Heuermann went into his office every day or worked remotely on job sites and his daughter usually joined him at work.

“Depending on his day, like most bosses in this industry, when he’s having a good day he’s alright,” Richards said. “But when not, he’s not the best person to be around … if he’s not having a good day.”

Richards said Heuermann was at his office on Thursday. He last spoke to him around 1 p.m.

Heuermann’s consulting firm worked with clients like Target, Nike, Burlington Coat Factory, Foot Locker and other large brand names, according to his website.

He has also worked with New York City agencies, Catholic Charities, NYC-DEP Sewerage Treatment and American Airlines, per his website.''

''Activity on Barthelemy’s cell phone also stopped when Heuermann also traveled to Iceland in 2009, court documents said, but started up again when Heuermann returned to the U.S.''
