MOO, I think that's a very strong possibility. He was certainly very interested in "getting to know" his targets, which makes sense in terms of his twisted plans. And absolutely, it gives him increased control and more "bite" for his sadistic thriills. But logistically, it's probably vitally important, as he knows exactly who will be aware when he makes a given victim disappear. He can prepare himself accordingly.
How far did he take it? Was he actively also stalking/surveilling other clients of the intentded victims? Because I still can't help but wonder after the Sandra Costilla charge if there's another level of manipulation involved in RH's sick machinations. LE was so positive that the murderer of Sandra Costilla also murdered Rita Tangredi and Colleen McNamee. If that's the case, I would think there was either some (at that time) active and very real association between RH and Bitrolff OR... RH knew someone else would likely be blamed and-- acted accordingly in those cases as well.
Completely agreed on this as well. Wouldn't that be something? One can only hope for more from those devices. I sure hope there is more information there, and I have a feeling there is. Look how relatively quickly they found HK. Guess only: There's more to be gained from those devices, (hopefully) considerably more. What the devices probably won't do, though, is give information for his earliest kills. I've thought from the beginning he murdered every single person found on Ocean Parkway and beyond. I still do, and RH may not be a talker once he's convicted. If that's the case, it'll be a wing and a prayer trying to ascertain exactly who this sick freak un-alived over the decades, and to learn the names of unidentified victims on Ocean Parkway.
"Your honor, I'm not guilty of any of these charges." LOL, please. Please. This guy's something to behold.
