I mean, why did anyone want to live in it BEFORE any of this?? Looks like hell.
It's a beautiful property and lovely neighborhood. But from what the neighbors initially said, they weren't really taking advantage of being apart of it. They lived like recluses by the sound of it. Now she's in the limelight and I'd say she's caught between a rock and a hard place with no way out. MOO.

It's a fantastic location for sure. But it doesn't look like he kept it up too well for someone that does all this construction and he's an architect. Weren't there like bare wood posts supporting the roof over the front porch? He's talking so much about building furniture and so forth. The house just didn't seem to reflect it. I know he keeps saying he purchased this house because it belonged to his parents, but I look at that house and wonder if it's not a reflection of how he really felt about them. Because he was making quite a bit of money, and even if he wasn't, he's supposed to be such a craftsman, and to me, that house looks something of a mess from the outside, and there are many reports that it was chaos inside as well.

The house looks a mess for sure. They would never get another prime location as beautiful for the money though. They likely have no mortgage left to pay on that house, leaving only utilities and taxes to pay. She'd never find a less expensive place to live now. So I imagine why not stay there if it makes her happy and that's the only life they know? Hopefully she's getting therapy to help her comprehend her life going forward. MOO.

IMO, AE's neighbors reached out in support of her after the arrest. They were willing to help clean- they sent care packages. They seemed to collectively conclude that maybe they avoided Rex all these years, and maybe AE and offspring were friends, not creepy.

IMO that good will was sabotaged by Macedonio.

MOO

John Ray symposium tomorrow!!
Are you watching this now?
The only live stream I see is on a YouTube channel that I don’t wish to support.
If anyone has an approved link to the symposium, I’d appreciate it.

They're playing the tape of Shannan's 911 call, when someone is trying to force her out of the house. After Rex H's arrest and details of his attacks and hunting women, it sounds a lot like she doesn't want to leave because someone outside the house was going to hurt her. Why else wouldn't she want to leave a house where someone is after her?

The sound on the video has some echo. JR's people said the recorded version they post after the symposium will have closed-caption.

He's now pointing out all of the lies that were told the night Shannan went missing.

Not much audience, it seems. :(

The online stream had about 400 people watching.

John Ray's presentations are pretty detailed and a little wonky, which is good. A lot of people don't like in depth presentations, they like to be entertained, unfortunately.

@ 3:37:00 the woman who claims to have been in the Heuermann's residence with NYC narc detective boyfriend along with the now deceased Karen Vergata,
The problem is you can't understand what she's saying due to weak/mumbling audio and filming distance.
I just read that according to Ray's people subtitles are to be added to video. ??

Hopefully Ray will put the video on his website with subtitles.
Sadly, the filming distance throughout took so much away from the symposium.
