Following yesterday's events, I keep thinking about these two unsolved cases (especially the disturbing phone calls to Theresas mother, similar to what we know RH did to GB4 victims.

Tina Foglia

• February of 1982, the remains of nineteen year old, Tina Foglia were discovered on Sagtikos Parkway in Suffolk County. Tina was last seen alive in West Islip - of which is close to Sagtikos Parkway and only mere miles from Oak Beach
• Tina's dismembered remains being found in three separate bags. Body neatly tied in several plastic bags and left on side of road
• Michael Baden, the Suffolk’s chief deputy medical examiner at the time, said Tina died by asphyxia from smothering “Tina died from oxygen deprivation that resulted from the blocking of her nose and mouth” (Newsday (Suffolk Edition) from Melville, New York).
• An unnamed source close to the investigation told the media that “Tina’s body was dismembered with an instrument “more precisely,” as if with a stroke of a butcher’s knife, than possible with instruments like a hatchet or a knife; unlike this source, police and the examiner refused to comment on the details of Tina’s death.” (Mar 04, 1982, page 27 - Newsday (Suffolk Edition) at Newspapers.com - Newspapers.com)
• Tina Foglia was wearing a diamond ring, that was missing and not found on her body
• “The body was cut up ‘more precisely’ than would be possible with an instrument such as an a hatchet or ax”. “Limbs severed “cleanly” as if with a stroke of a butchers knife”

• Disappeared 11/10/84 after her leaving her job at the local roller rink around 9:45 pm. After about a month, her body was found on December 5th, 1984 naked in a wooded area in Lynbrook, New York near LIRR train tracks off an access road about a block away from Hot Skates.
• After an autopsy was conducted, they discovered she died as a result of ligature strangulation (by wire, cord, rope, etc.). DNA samples showed that before she died she was sexually assaulted
• Three men were later convicted but then exonerated in 2003 after semen DNA proved they were not responsible.
• Theresas mother received “prank phone calls'' after her disappearance. I could only find one article and it referenced her testimony when the 3 original suspects sued NY for wrongful conviction. Keep in mind this was 30+ years after TF was killed but here is what she said: “The callers sounded like young people and gave useless tips about clothing that was found, or someone seeing something being thrown into Hempstead Lake”
• AND “I got one sick call: ‘Help me mommy, I’m suffocating”. The article is unclear on when the calls were made, but it appears it was before the body was discovered..

His mom moved out in 1993 and he purchased the home from her in 1994.

Thank you so much. I’m very interested in this time period because I’m torn if he started his murderous crimes prior to owning the home.

My thought presently is he started the killings in 1993 with SC when he had full control of the comings and goings at the house. Maybe even why she was found further away from his house than the others. Meaning he got more brazen and organized as the years passed and he did not get caught so he felt more comfortable leaving his victims closer to his home. I’m sure he began meeting escorts when married to first wife which may have even led to their divorce. Once he got divorced and owned that home is when he gained the freedom to commit his heinous crimes. Jmo and I will not be shocked if he actually did start earlier.

That was a question I had actually ! One of the reports today mentioned the hundreds (300?) electronic devices. I was wondering if this announcement today means they were done examining all of those devices or this is unrelated and there’s still much more to go?

This has confirmed that at least one of the Hoarders in that red house is RH. The key-cards, phones could have easy been destroyed and disposed (smashed up and chucked in to ocean, sewers, out anywhere along his commute.)
Sure, maybe he wanted to keep things as reminders, but his inability to dispose of anything (other than pizza crust) indicates, IMO, that he is person who drives the household hoarding - driven by desire to keep control of DNA and evidence, but overall another way to control his family & home.

I wonder if the family complained to him about the house? Were they ashamed of the state of their home? I would assume so but??? And, was it always this bad inside or did it become gradually worse?

After watching a few episodes of "Hoarders" I still don't understand how the hoarder's partner/kids who live in the house let the hoarder take over?

Kinda like the person who lives with the 600 lb person and continues to provide them with all the wrong foods.

His first wife moved out in September 93 and Sandra was killed in November. His mom had moved out prior to the wife. So I think you're right. If he's not responsible for any of the 1980s victims, Sandra was likely his first.

Rex Heuermann’s kids are “along for the dark ride” and standing by the suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer, according to their lawyer.

Victoria Heuermann and Christopher Sheridan remain by their side even after their dad was charged with two more murders and prosecutors detailed a sickening “planning document” he allegedly kept on a computer in his Massapequa Park home, lawyer Vess Mitev said.

“They continue to bravely face the scrutiny and adversity head-on and they will wait for the legal process to conclude in a courtroom and not in the court of public opinion,” Mitev told The Post on Friday morning.

“They are along for the dark ride, one might say,” Mitev also told the US Sun.

“Nonetheless, they’re two young adults that have done nothing wrong and they’re trying to keep their lives from completely crumbling in the midst of all this,” the attorney said.

Mitev declined to comment on whether Victoria and Christopher had read the bulk of the evidence, but said that the pair want to see the case against their dad for themselves at his trial.

“There’s a quantum leap between allegations and a conviction, as any criminal defense attorney will tell you, so whether it’s one or 100 charges, they’re still allegations,” Mitev noted.

When first arrested an assistant of RH back around 2017 spoke with the media and said that she used to buy him pizza all the time and could never understand why he didn't eat the crust.

After the 1st search of TARGET RESIDENCE (as it's now known) I read it and was horrified.
No wonder LE went back for a 2nd inspection for a super close look - finding pinholes etc, taking in clever dogs for the Tech sniffing etc.
Heck knows what they have found this 2nd time around !!

I recall at the time wondering if it was salacious & "invented" & exaggerated !!- seems NOT !

IMO: AE should complete the Divorce - change the adult childrens surnames- never return to TARGET RESIDENCE & do the decent thing & find an exit for the Peacock Deal - IMO monetizing murder is disgusting.

Cops allegedly found a soundproof room in the accused Gilgo Beach killer’s basement and think at least one victim was killed there, it was revealed Sunday — as police used cadaver dogs and ground-penetrating radar to scour his back yard.

A former co-worker told The Post that suspected serial murderer Rex Heuermann, 59, once took time off from his job as a Manhattan architect to install a concrete-lined vault at his family’s Long Island house.

It’s not clear if that basement compartment is the one cops suspect could have been a killing chamber or whether it is possibly the space previously reported to hold Heuermann’s up to 300 guns.

But “it’s not just a hidden room — it’s a serious vault,” the ex-colleague said. “It had a huge, heavy-duty safe door. He went and poured new concrete walls, massive amount of concrete to encase this room.”

“It was maybe 2 or 3 feet thick,” the former co-worker said.
