They may have interacted in some techy chatroom - something less commercial like irc.Did the information that got LE looking in Manorville come from Bittrolff or his attorney? Pretty sure the sequence of events was Bittrolff files appeal for new trial, LE digs in Manorville, digs in Massapequa Park, files news charges. Since Castilla had originally been assumed to be Bittrolff's victim that they just couldn't prove it (left shoe also missing, as with Rita Tangredi and Colleem McNamee), it would mean that Bittrolff spilled on his co-murdering buddy Rex or that Bittrolff was trying to exonerate himself completely by pinning it on Rex (but how would he know??).
For Michael Brown, there's only one defense left, i.e. that LE fabricated Rex's Murder Diary because they realized their DNA evidence was too thin. On its face, seems a preposterous claim, but a defense attorney needs to sow doubt in just one juror's mind, that's the game.
RSBMWell, they knew the hair that was found on Sandra wasn't Bittrolff's. He was excluded from contributing it.
It's called the "Peacock" train that Mitev, Macedonio, Asa, VH jumped on for mega $$$$.Rex Heuermann’s kids are “along for the dark ride” and standing by the suspected Gilgo Beach serial killer, according to their lawyer.
Victoria Heuermann and Christopher Sheridan remain by their side even after their dad was charged with two more murders and prosecutors detailed a sickening “planning document” he allegedly kept on a computer in his Massapequa Park home, lawyer Vess Mitev said.
“They continue to bravely face the scrutiny and adversity head-on and they will wait for the legal process to conclude in a courtroom and not in the court of public opinion,” Mitev told The Post on Friday morning.
“They are along for the dark ride, one might say,” Mitev also told the US Sun.
“Nonetheless, they’re two young adults that have done nothing wrong and they’re trying to keep their lives from completely crumbling in the midst of all this,” the attorney said.
Mitev declined to comment on whether Victoria and Christopher had read the bulk of the evidence, but said that the pair want to see the case against their dad for themselves at his trial.
“There’s a quantum leap between allegations and a conviction, as any criminal defense attorney will tell you, so whether it’s one or 100 charges, they’re still allegations,” Mitev noted.

He's always said he didn't do anything, in a deep-science-fiction version he was maybe "supposed" to take the fall for whatever reason. You're probably right, but I think it's just typical of this case that LE was at one point swearing that whoever killed Tangredi and McNamee also killed Castilla.I don't know what this is going to mean for JB, but I suspect that his DNA on his two victims is still going to be the stronger argument than a variation on the SODDI defense. And I don't see him sitting in prison for a decade on his tod if he did it with RH without saying a word.
Yep. And I'd also argue that all 3 victims were escorts working in a particular area utilized by both JB and RH. Just because one engaged with a known sex worker, doesn't mean he killed her.Defense atty says: "Coupla hairs, coulda come from anywhere, maybe the police put them there themselves".
I feel that way, someone (apparently) this sick, despite being able to keep at least superficial relationships with women, was probably acting out as early as possible.,,,I now wonder if he might also seized on random opportunities when they presented themselves.
I have not seen anything stating that Sandra Costilla did sex work. It certainly wasn't mentioned in the press conference yesterday, and they did mention it for Jessica.Yep. And I'd also argue that all 3 victims were escorts working in a particular area utilized by both JB and RH. Just because one engaged with a known sex worker, doesn't mean he killed her.
I'd love to know the DNA sources that came from Bittrolff. Were they seminal ? Hairs ? What ? It may not matter, but still, I'd like to know.
Do you think there is significance to that happy face drawn on the back of RH's house? We do know that soon after his arrest RH became buddies with 'Happy Face".
And the juries say, nah, the perp put them there.Defense atty says: "Coupla hairs, coulda come from anywhere, maybe the police put them there themselves".
Sandra has never been mentioned as a sex worker.I have not seen anything stating that Sandra Costilla did sex work. It certainly wasn't mentioned in the press conference yesterday, and they did mention it for Jessica.
Source, please.
I don't know, but another thing I'm confused about re: Bittrolff's DNA is that, allegedly, besides his DNA (in some form) being on Rita and Colleen, there's some other party that had their DNA on both of them. I heard this, tried to verify from all the experts, and got different answers. Bittrolff is a murky component in all this.I'd love to know the DNA sources that came from Bittrolff. Were they seminal ? Hairs ? What ? It may not matter, but still, I'd like to know.
Or, one of his kids could have painted it there for a lark when they were younger. There are millions of happy faces doodled on bus seats, brick walls, and school desks that have nothing to do with murder.Do you think there is significance to that happy face drawn on the back of RH's house?
Who put it there?
How do we know they became buddies?
Do you think RH knee he was about to be arrested and put it there to get the HF killer's attention to one up him or something?
Weird.
HF posted the reply letter that RH sent him.Do you think there is significance to that happy face drawn on the back of RH's house?

I agree. If we ever discover who his first victim was (and I doubt that we will), I think the learning curve for all of us would be astronomical.I feel that way, someone (apparently) this sick, despite being able to keep at least superficial relationships with women, was probably acting out as early as possible.
I believe they did their search in the Manorville area because of the killing plan they found on his old computer in the deleted folder. In that killing plan, RH referred to an area where one was disposed. MOO.Did the information that got LE looking in Manorville come from Bittrolff or his attorney? It was an assumption on my part long ago, although, I do think there's evidence that points to it.I have not seen anything stating that Sandra Costilla did sex work. It certainly wasn't mentioned in the press conference yesterday, and they did mention it for Jessica.
