I don't think it's so important if these items came AFTER he worked at the beach...let's face it that beach is his stomping ground..just like Gilgo..a place he knows intimately and is comfortable there.
he would know his way around there at night too...he might get off on hiding things there. Also he could have hung out at that beach long after he worked there.

I can't see a reason for then burying a lost and found box of discarded items on the beach..it doesn't make sense..so now I feel a vibe of him maybe actually knowing how to get into those beach buildings or sheds and maybe even taking victims there in the dark of night. Because the house would have still been his mom's back then I think, and off limits for murder.

If there is substance to this and he has any, any kind of tie to these items, we get more information and more answers. That's huge. Like you said, this is the stomping grounds of his youth. You know what I find especially interesting is the purses. He really seems to enjoy parting women he's murdered from their purses, I think he turns the purses inside-out trying to "get to know" his victims, know their backgrounds after he murders them. SG's purse being found a ways off from where she was found--have always thought of him. Don't want to get too curious yet because it might turn out it's unrelated. (I always think of that strongbox they found out in Manorville and it dropped off the radar completely.) But this is the period 80s-90s where there's something of a vacuum of information in his "timeline." With that said, rayon's a beachy fabric, mini skirts and shorts, light pants, all beachy. But the buttons popped off? Purses? Like significant numbers of women have decided it's a good idea to discard their old purses at the beach? Maybe lost, but I dunno, so staff all got together one day and said let's bury these lost purses in the sand?? I can only picture one "staff member" thinking of such a thing, and not because the purses were lost.

Those items could identify more of his victims and potentially connect to suspected victims. What a calculating savage, he's like an incredibly intelligent Frankenstein's monster with professional accreditation, complaining to known SKs about lack of butter for his bread while LE's unearthing all of this. He's terrifying, jmo. I'm not sure that's tied to him, but jmo alarmingly decent chance.

Less than two months after Heuermann was arrested in July 2023 in connection to three of the 11 Gilgo Beach murders, workers three miles away at Jones Beach unearthed a cache of weather-beaten purses and women’s and girls’ clothing buried in the sand just outside the East Bathhouse, police sources said.

The workers were cleaning the area, and called police immediately.

Police sources said the clothing was from the late 1980s and early 1990s. The items were buried two feet deep.'

JMO, it’s really a stretch for Brown to try that argument. It sounds like the statue he’s quoting doesn’t apply in this situation. Just because the lab isn’t in NY doesn’t mean it’s not up to quality standards. California has strict regulations, too.

I'm quite sure that Judge Mazzei and his staff have researched the prosecution's and defense's arguments extensively and JM is confident in his decision.

So far no DNA has been linked from Tanya Jackson to RH and LE have been treating TJ and toddler as seperate from the other Gilgo victims found. A new serial killer's trophy stash just uncovered at Jones? TJ and toddler's killer? I hope they get as many sniffing dogs they can to check out all of Jones straight thru to Gilgo...if they haven't already. Just very disturbing, this Jones find

Maybe they do have DNA and/or evidence linking TJ and her daughter Tatiana Dykes to RH.

IIRC: Every woman that RH is on trail for murdering was identified by name when he was charged?

Gathering evidence leading to the arrest of RH was in process while LE was using DNA to identify the mother and daughter, trying to contact a family member(s) and when Tierney identified them to the public he was in court proceedings with RH's case.

According to Tierney all hands are now on deck for RH's trial and there will be no forthcoming info or possible charges on any of the other victims at this time as it would delay the trial for the 7 women RH is charged with murdering.

Suffolk County has a popluation of over 1.5 million. I think they can find a jury. IMO

The DEFENSE thinks they can find a jury in Suffolk and is not even feigning or flirting with a request for a change in venue. The next closest county is the defendant's home. The next 4 closest comprise most of the defendant's city in which he ran a business.

Yet, the defense has no objection to a trial in the county where victims were found and where presumably at least part of each violent crime was committed.

Ordinarily, someone from outside a county accused of committing crimes in it would assume that jurors would be hard to win over. But in Suffolk, the defense appears to presume that the jurors will not be harder to win over than the jurors in the counties the defendant has more ties to.

To me, it makes it seem that Suffolk is steeped in "no humans involved" culture.

I agree. And I think the defense isn't bothering to ask for a change of venue because there is no reason for one and they know the judge would turn it down.

To me, it looked like she wanted to speak so badly, but Macedonio muzzled her before she could get her pitiful words out and misspeak. Then she closed her eyes when the reporter asked her direct questions, as if trying to block out the truth, as if to say, "I'll just shut my eyes and the truth won't see the light", apparently like she did for her entire marriage. I will not be surprised if it's traced back to Rex..I will not be surprised if there is nothing conclusive after years of these items being buried there. now..were the items in bags? boxes? plastic storage containers? or were they just in a layer in the sand 2 feet down...thats not very far down when you think of shifty sand...but perhaps the areas around the beach buildings are less likely to change or move around...I think you have to have an understanding of how sand acts as an environment for buried objects.. sand can be wet and heavy underneath where there is no sun...

I hope we will see some photos of the items. I hope DNA will be discovered . children's clothing too
and none of this stuff sounds like beach clothing , bathing suits, towels , flip flops...no this stuff was weird enough that the cops got called in immediately. mOO

Well, RH has been at it for at least 30 years. You have to start somewhere and 7 is a good number.
