Maybe not, but travel is tiring and she doesn't strike me as a high-energy person. However, if she's contracted to make certain appearances, I'd guess she'll still be around. And I'd guess she would not be paying the bills for those appearances.
I agree. No energy observed there in the least.
The things we would need to do for a million $$$$$.
MOO.

If I recall, she’s been battling cancer. Cancer and cancer treatments will zap energy.

"The house is not for sale at this time," said Macedonio, of Islip Terrace, who said he could not say when the house might go up for sale. "Asa and the children, Victoria and Christopher, will be spending more time in South Carolina, and the storage container is there because they are removing personal items that they plan to relocate to South Carolina with them

"South Carolina is a place where they’ve established a presence and certainly they’re going to be staying down there much more," said Vess Mitev, the Stony Brook-based attorney for the children. "We don’t have a time frame, but certainly they’re in the process of establishing a presence in South Carolina."Asked why they were moving, Mitev said: "Well, obviously that home is associated with a very dark chapter in their life."

The attorney discussing the "violation of her property rights" is just extremely offensive -- at least to me. IF LE is correct and the women were murdered IN THAT HOME -- the owner himself had already violated the rights on that property! Just nasty offensive.

Also, living expenses in South Carolina will undoubtedly be much less.

Seriously. The constant victim act is really tiresome. Property rights have only and will only cover the right to use property in a legal manner. Wives don’t get to shield their serial killer husbands from LE by claiming “property rights”.
And I agree it is actually offensive. Does this lawyer really think public sympathy should lie with the wife whose husband tortured and murdered women right under her nose instead of with the victims and the efforts of LE to stop this guy?

Interesting. Does this mean Asa won't be visiting Rex in jail? Will she no longer attend his pre-trial hearings? Commuting back and forth from South Carolina to Long Island, NY could get expensive.
I totally agree. ASA literally told rex "don't let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya! aka its wayyy over. I would be curious to see if she is willing to maintain the connection of Rex with the kids. Also, If a change of venue is possible, where would the trial be?

How did you come to this conclusion? She's been supporting him all along, one way or another.
MOO.

True. IIRC, all she's done is file for divorce. Nothing about the divorce has been finalized. Asa has claimed she thinks her husband isn't getting fair treatment and that she will follow his trial to make sure he is treated fairly.

As of last June, AE stated the family would remain in the Long Island house until the end of Rex H's trial.

I think that when it comes time to keep the family wealth, like most rich folks do, they divorce to keep their assets. She is slated to make at least 10 mil from the upcoming peacock documentary. time will tell.

10 million? Yikes.

I thought it was one million from previous reporting/ threads.

Though any amount might be too much.

What’s the latest with this guy?

I know he’s been charged with a couple of accounts. Just got done watching the docuseries “The Killing Season” which is interesting but covers a LOT of the US in the long run. With regards to Rex, he can’t be LISK! Right? I mean this guy is overweight and out of shape. How could he hide these women’s bodies along Gilgo beach by himself?

He spent a lot of time with his victims. Unsure how long he spent choosing them but I do think he was specific. He’s a pretty bad dude.
So he was charged initially for the Gilgo Beach 4. There was hair from his wife on the victims…. Plus cell phone data is there to back up the encounters. Then they charged him with two additional older murders. There was hair evidence with them too. Find a copy of the bail documents. It’s got a whole lot of good info.

I’ll check it out. Thanks. I know I’m new here but this stuff has always fascinated me. Actually found this site because of the killing season show. What’s the latest?’

His lawyers were trying to get the DNA evidence thrown out. That’s the last I remember. With such a high profile case, things move painfully slow.

Im pretty sure its 1 mil.
Any amount is too much for the wife and family of a SK, profiting off of the deaths of innocent people. For me, it's outrageous they can benefit from this!
MOO.

You think his wife is playing dumb and knew something was up or has she been blind to it the whole time?

Well, she's classified as a victim here and off limits for discussion. It's the benefiting from her husband's crimes that I find unbelievable and I do hope it does not proceed. MOO.

Would be more acceptable IMO if the money were donated to the SK victim’s families, regardless of who is offered the money for the story.

MOO
