Nassau County. Wonder who the District Attorney is? Long Island is so heavily populated, I doubt it will be Ray Tierney. In my rural area, one DA covers 3-4 counties, but I'm positive it must be different on LI, right?
Nassau police on Wednesday will announce the identity of Gilgo Beach homicide victim Jane Doe No. 3 and her toddler, multiple law enforcement sources told Newsday.
Sources said the identifications were made "some time ago," but have not yet been made public. In 2022, the FBI sought information on a deceased man in Mobile, Alabama, who investigators believed had a genetic connection to the woman and child. Investigators have said they believe the woman was likely killed within three days of the June 28, 1997 discovery of her mutilated remains.

The grave location is in Alabama, so it was probably uploaded to FindAGrave before they were officially identified.

very weird how they ended up on Gilgo..I could see Rex telling someone he randomly met that he is an architect and knows of a property they could look at and rent cheaply in a nice school area, and to come out and see it...just saying, my mind is working this out to put Rex into this story. She does not look to be a sex worker but we don't know. it will be very interesting to see what develops.
