Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 7 murders, July 2023 #16

"The Gilgo Beach serial killer suspect uttered the words 'good job'
to one of his defense attorneys during the critical murder trial hearing taking place this week.

Defense attorney Danielle Coysh
was given the high praise by accused murderer Rex Heuermann
after she wrapped up her questioning with their expert defense witness Nathaniel Adams,
a systems engineer at Ohio-based Forensic Bioinformatic Services, Inc,
Newsday reported.

Coysh has been an integral part of Heuermann's legal team
and has been working alongside lead attorney Michael Brown since Heuermann's arrest in July 2023."
I wonder if she’s flattered at the compliment from him?

If nuclear DNA evidence is allowed in the trial of accused Gilgo Beach serial killer Rex Heuermann, it would be a first for New York.
A lab used the new technology to link hairs on several victims to Heuermann. That lab's founder, University of California scientist Dr. Richard Green, testified in court Tuesday.

Attorney Michael Brown, representing accused serial killer Rex Heuermann, discusses their ongoing battle over DNA evidence in the case.
''Investigators found DNA belonging to Heuermann's now estranged wife, Asa Ellerup, in hair recovered from a belt used to restrain Brainard-Barnes, according to the indictment. Heuermann's family was out of state when Brainard-Barnes was killed, prosecutors said, and Ellerup is not suspected to be involved.
"The DNA itself was extracted from the hair back in 2010," Tierney said. "At that time, there was no method to obtain nuclear DNA profile from hair -- that has since changed. So we're on the cutting edge with regard to using this DNA analysis."
How many people would that be exactly? What is .04% of the population now?

Good question!

3. United States

''The U.S. population clock is based on a series of short-term projections for the resident population of the United States. This includes people whose usual residence is in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. These projections do not include members of the Armed Forces overseas, their dependents, or other U.S. citizens residing outside the United States.

The projections are based on a monthly series of population estimates starting with the April 1, 2020 resident population from the 2020 Census.''

I think it’s more likely to be nightmare fuel
It's unfortunate but some women do fall "in love" with these men and do all sorts of things - destroy evidence, help them escape and go on the run.

Depends on what they are defining as "North American."

Do they mean US+Canada?

If they mean the continent of North America, then it gets much much bigger because you're adding in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean.

right, that's why it's important to know he does in fact own handguns. ;) mOO
And remember how adamant AE was that the guns be sold?

This is what concerns me a lot about this situation. This guy's at the very least a suspected serial sadistic murderer with many victims. (And for myself and it seems like most people on this thread, it's a foregone conclusion at this point he's a muderer, who thankfully doesn't like pizza crust.) So why would you be screaming bloody murder to get those guns gone?? If you want to see the evidence, well... let's explore all options, right?

And that together with Green Acres house, it's just... I don't know. And that witness that stepped forward about the swinging parties. I mean, AE's gushing over what a hero RH is (gag me), and it just... I don't like saying this, but does anyone remember the John Ray witness that said she actually met someone claiming to be AE, and that the person the witness thought was AE was gushing over RH, too? The person who the witness thought was AE was saying RH brought her to this country and she owed everything to him. THAT is creepy to me because it sounds like the type of thing someone who views RH as a "hero" would say. Also, the witness said the woman the witness thought was AE... this woman thought to be AE also said she was afraid of RH. Again, this worries me because that might dovetail a bit with someone who takes these incredibly lengthy vacations from her "hero." Now, I think it's possible that this woman that the witness thought was AE was in reality someone RH hired for the party, and not AE at all. We know he was engaged with a lot of sex workers, I'm sure he was a repeat customer with at least some. He might have viewed it as interesting to have a secret relationship with someone who bore a strong resemblance to AE. But it just... yeah, it's definitely something of note, jmho. Because I also believe the John Ray witnesses.

If I watch AE on these documentaries, it's just going to make me wonder even more. (I still haven't watched them.)

Recall, though, that the witness said AE bizarrely accused her of trying to steal a clothing iron. It sounds like something an odd wife/ housewife would say. Very odd if it were a total stranger.

Edit for grammar

the prob with selling the guns is that we don't know if those guns could be connected to other crimes, rapes, murders, etc. We just don't know. Seems to me like he would love to shoot someone out somewhere where he wouldn't get busted. Even tho the guns may legally be their property and nothing can be done to preserve them for future testing...it bothers me somewhat because we all know there are other victims out there. mOO

Interesting point.

That "hero" perception is indeed another reason the cop's ex-gf who went to a swinging party is credible.

It is a depiction of Asa consistent with how she came off in the .50 production.

MOO

Edit to add: AFAIK, Asa never said anything publicly along those lines before the witnesses affidavit.
