Gilgo Beach LISK Serial Killer, Rex Heuermann, charged with 7 murders, July 2023 #16

I've posted it numerous times since Macedonio said that Asa hired him the weekend after RH was arrested.
I see one connected dot for this to have happened, and happened so fast.

RH was arrested on Thursday, July 13, 2023.
Michael Brown said that he met RH for the first time Friday morning 7/14/23 in court.
MB calls his old law partner Bob Macedonio and Macedonio gets in touch with AE phone # via MB via RH.

Back channeling at it's finest.

IMO
I wanted to back-up my comments with a link on when Macedonio was retained by AE.

Jul 20, 2023 — Asa Ellerup retained attorney Robert Macedonio on Saturday and filed for divorce from her husband Rex Heuermann on Wednesday ...

He can plead guilty to avoid a trial. Anyone can.
There are other things to negotiate, such as imprisonment location and conditions. I agree he won't get traction asking for freedom in this lifetime, but he could get a more comfortable incarceration.

Still, at this point, my money is on his going to trial, proclaiming innocence, and enjoying the spectacle. I don't imagine he'd admit guilt. But, of course I don't know.

I think many want him to go to trial. If he is a narcissist then he might go to trial. His lawyer wants to do separate trials for each victim. I guess time will tell.

So AE & Co. referred to RH as "The LISK" and not the accused "LISK".
Wow!

The wording was changed from "The LISK Rex Heuermann " to "owned by the infamous RH" and re-posted for sale.

At this point I agree he's going to trial because he has nothing to gain taking pleas, that is if even offered.

What I find most interesting is RH's non-reactions from the get-go when he was arrested.
We all know that people react differently to traumatic events but if someone was actually innocent of these unspeakable evil crimes I have a difficult time believing they would portray nonchalantness like RH is.

imo

He always could change his plea to guilty though if he wanted to spare the family from the trial, but who knows if he has any empathy to do that. He would probably want to relive his killings by going to trial. Imo

If you plead guilty there is no trial. His family would not be put through it and all the testimonies, and all the publicity.. I included a few links above of serial killers who did so. It is pretty common especially when they know the prosecutors have the damning evidence on them.
He's a sadist, though, and he makes taunting calls to his victims' families. He likes to torment. The trial will cause torment.

I don't think this one will take a plea, and I always thought BK might, but jmo. RH has nothing to lose, and with his twisted way of thinking, everything to gain.

He doesn't care if his own family suffers, either, or he wouldn't have them living in Green Acres house with his sadistic serial killer self.

Thank you for posting this! I had been searching for it and couldn't recall where Macedonio stated this important information.
I find it ridiculous and insulting that AE portrays her marriage in such shining terms, when she has money to gain from standing by him, but in the beginning of all of this when he was arrested, the truth is that they led separate lives according to her attorney. "She was in a world all her own" and the "marriage was breaking down".
I cannot stand the absolute farce going on with RH and his "devoted" family. It's inconceivable to me that his family has received so much money from others, first from all those generous people who donated to her out of pity, and then from the documentary, and who knows what other moneys she has accumulated through other sources since his arrest. Talk about a twisted world.

I don’t believe anything her attorneys say. Their stories change all the time.

Wow. Very interesting. I noticed that, too. She claims he’s innocent until it’s time to make a profit selling his creepy man toys.

Not to get all ad hominem, but.....her attorney managed to make a career step down from carrying around cocaine, which, while illegal and dangerous, can liven up a party.

Now he repeatedly calls Asa mentally ill and changes stories about her marriage on her behalf. Buzz kill!

He had his revoked law license restored by felon Spota. Hardly a sparkling origin story. The man literally owes his ability to practice law to the gang that pushed the feds out of helping with LISK.

So, yeah. Macedonio must be taken with a grain of salt. And some extra strength Tylenol. This is the attorney in this case whose credibility should be questioned. His origin story is intertwined with those who pushed away investigation of LISK.

NGL, I think if I were facing the rest of my natural life in jail, I'd probably go to trial as much as possible. What else can he fill his days with?

I suppose he also has a future as a snitch-that person you "randomly" assign as a roommate to people you hope will talk. He's big enough, but his fitness might be in question. He seems to like cops. I could see an incarceration niche of protected snitch. But even that doesn't fill time as well as murder trials.

I think a trial will also be about ego and finding out what LE actually knows about the crimes.

I can't imagine what his inmates will be thinking when he joins them. That would be interesting to watch. Imo
