Or the wife!
And see what ? The house was in a disarray. The locked room downstairs had a combination and had all the guns etc..did they even have access? His wife appeared devoted and subservient and possibly not all there cognitively. His kid said she hadn't been in the room. She was a bit off herself, was close to her father it seems, and appears to be socially awkward herself. Who is going to be wandering in and breaking into what looked like a locked safe? I know people may disagree with me but I do believe if the wife was involved LE wouldn't let it go and I believe in giving some grace. Is this a weird family? IMO yes..but complicit/involved in him being a serial killer...I can't go there without proof imo. It's just me. I truly believe LE would have done more of a deep dive in the wife if they had an inkling she could have been party to this. And I do think that one attorney going after his daughter is just not ok but I think he has been pointed out to be problematic for other reasons.

Its his childhood home IIRC...I wonder if anything was changed ? An upgrade , new cabinets or redecorating ??
I think he did the bathroom/kitchen before when they weren't there - possibly as a cover? IDK..

My understanding is that Tierney said no plea deal would be offered awhile back. It sounds like hes just pleading guilty with no plea deal
Agreed. All the reporting I've read suggests he is choosing to plea guilty of his own volition. There is no plea deal involved. That means other users' questions/speculation about 'terms of his deal'--better prison conditions, protecting family's assets from civil damages, forced to reveal details of these crimes or other murders, not putting his DNA into CODIS (illegal btw and would never happen, deal or no), etc--are all moot. The only thing he gains by voluntarily pleading guilty is avoiding a trial.

Totally agreed on benefit of the doubt, jmo, he was divorced when he hooked up with AE, I'd imagine him being a complete psycho had to have been a factor on the first marriage ending. He evidently didn't want to stop being that way or couldn't, and shopped around for a perfect SK wife. And he probably sealed the deal by demanding she "give him his space." I doubt she felt like arguing with Gun Room Rex. Looking up women that will marry SKs. Seeing SKs might gravitate towards a woman who travels for work

So AE likes to travel, trips to Iceland are guaranteed to be long,, clearly she goes elsewhere as well, and she evidently had a difficult past. Question. How much did he travel for work? He certainly traveled plenty with his hunting and Vegas and SC, but I'm guessing he may also have traveled for his job. I know he attended conferences/seminars and such because he mentioned at least one such instance in a vehicular lawsuit. And I doubt she went with him on all of these famous hunting trips. He's got a demanding job, exactly how much time did these two really spend together?

Just went back into his log that was in one of the bail documents, and seeing this:
View attachment 655326
There's this "Amity Meeting." Amity, the town of Amity? That's way up in New York near the PA border 75 miles from Buffalo & Rochester. And there's a shooting range in Rochester ON Amity St. Now, ok, there are bound to be "Amitys" in NYC, too, but this is at 6pm, these later time slots during the week seem to be when he's off work, and another such late-in-the-weekday entry on that log is for some gun club event. And there's that entry Rabco re: cooling tower. Here's why I'm doing a ginormous double-take on that right now. When I was researching for how he may have been using that truck as a mobile kill station, I remember specifically being navigated into reading about cooling towers. You can equip a truck with one. So just looked up Rabco, there are a few Rabcos with different purposes, certainly there are a couple he might have been in legitimate contact with for his company. But the first Rabco that came up, that is a boat company in Clearwater FL. They make skiffs, these can be used for duck hunting. You can equip one of those with a cooling tower. (And you can do the same with a truck.) Probably the Rabco's a different engineering-related Rabco, but it's just reminding me of the fact that we really haven't heard much of anything about his travels. I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. HK actually WAS buying some kind of cooler unit for either boat or truck. And not just to cool off.

RH deceived a lot of people, LE had a heckuva time getting him, it's entirely possible jmo he deceived her too. The only thing that has always made me really wonder with AE was that "Stockholm Syndrome" note on HK. I mean, who's that referring to? We don't know, but perhaps some party other than her. That "Stockholm Syndrome" note along with the cash register mentality and the lack of empathy towards the victims is worrisome and gross. But she's a traveler, and so is he, and that could be a strong motivator for him to feel like he can do as he pleases. Between his job, her job then illnesses, his travels and her travels, I'd wonder exactly how much time these two really spent together. She knew him when he was younger, she just may have felt she knew all there was to know, and just accepted his absences without question. It sounds like she went out of the frying pan into the fire in terms of her personal situation. I'd find her a lot more sympathetic if she hadn't Peacocked her way into financial stability, hurting a lot of people in the process, but jmo.
I mean - myself? I wouldn't have gone along with a locked room I had no access to or a house of guns or one in disarray or much else they seemed to reflect, but I also wouldn't have been a good wife material for him...in the littlest bit & wouldn't live the way they did. To me she seemed to be the perfect mark for him and he seized on it. Wife #1 has truly laid low and wants no part of this...I can't blame her.

Will he still be her hero if he does plead guilty? I suspect there will be a Peacock sequel where she claims that she is in intense trauma counseling and the children also.

She will assume the role of ‘What was it like to be married to a serial killer, rapist and torturer’. She will do books, 48 Hours, Dateline, 20/20, Netflix, talk shows, etc:rolleyes:

I wish someone would be brave enough to get footage from the dilapidated house.
Wow..A brilliant money making future grifting scenario for AE/Macedonio and Peacock.
I have a feeling at the very least there's someone in the industry that has at least one or two of your ideas already cooking....tragically.
Though I am impressed by your creative imagination.

When I see the coming attractions I'll post them.lol
imo

Perhaps another "rescue" in a DP state? We all know RH is a big "rescue" guy.
If not her, maybe someone else in a DP state?

You know, I just can't picture Mr. Murder pleading out with no apparent incentive for... no reason whatsoever. I also can't see him pleading out for unlimited stockpiles of butter. It's gotta be a lot more substantive, but again, jmho. Right, I know it's not a deal, but maybe a little "goodwill hunting" in a DP abolition state.

He's scared of something, jmo. Think about it, if he's the sadist he's admitting to being in these horrendous murders, would he really go ahead at this point and plead out with no incentive?

There's something in it for him somewhere, potentially.

There is public defender who claims to be a colleague of RH’s attorneys who said this plea was an “open secret” and that the attorneys “worked very hard” to see this through. Seems like they might have actually worked something out? source

Anyone else remember Ray Tierney at a presser when asked about the other victims and he said that they are continuing their Investigations but there will not be any new charges added to this case?
Will RH admit to the murder of Asian Doe as part of getting a guilty plea deal?

And/or the dismemberment/murder of Karen Vergata?

Remember this.

"asian escorts manhattan" and "asian twink tied up porn" associated with an email account linked to Heuermann.

I would presume his attorneys have convinced him there is no winning at a trial. I think the prosecutor would ethically need to agree to a plea that keeps him LWOP with a negotiated range of cell/jail placement options/+ advising him they could go for worse sections of the prison etc + if hes is found guilty + if his current care isn't that great telling him that this would be prolonged ...not really a deal per se but the prosecutors would be derelict if they didn't agree to something like that and if he has no chance then he would be smart to also work within the same to retain the best possible quality of life he can in prison.

The wife and kids went back to Iceland for 5 weeks and when they got home he’d completely ripped out the bathroom and redone the whole thing. She thought it was a ‘nice surprise’ - I think it’s a little convenient and I hate to think what happened in there for him to completely change the whole bathroom

Melissa disappeared then. But she wasn’t dismembered. And she was tiny. I don’t want to think about it. Maybe he couldn’t get in and he broke the door frame.

I think men with proclivities like his pick women who are subservient, who will not go prying into rooms or areas he tells them not too, who do not question him closely if he is out all times of night and day and doesn't say where he has been, I think they do this years Before they progress to rape and murder, when they are in the fantasizing stages, before they progress into the actual acting out of fantasying, by the time they are committing there crimes the women in there lives are not questioning or enquiring about what they are up to (this is not to disparage any women, some women are submissive, and are happy to allow there partner to do what he wants without question)

I think of BTK wife and daughter, didn't know anything about what he had done, GSK wife and wife and daughter of Abby and Libbys murderer,

many wives have no idea and I think this is another family who knew nothing of his crimes,

Now me, well I would be the wrong pick if you wish to keep secrets, as I would be in every room that you told me not to go into, and would rifle through all your stuff, as that is my personality, I say not nosey but curious, if you were out at odd times night or day with no good explanation I would be investigating where you had been,

I have followed this case/s since the first bodies were found in 2010. My earliest saves weren't that polished (I had just begun and saved things for my own use) but since I continued I have many hundreds of hours into it. I am SO thankful I don't have to follow a trial!

I mean if he wants to get married/keep a family front/have companionship, someone who is likely damaged themselves and unlikely to question, be easy to manage with a different sense of what is normal, is the mark. She seems to fit that description to me and imo.
