Took a spin through Chicago’s iconic WGN Radio studios this week with Lisa Dent—talking TRUE CRIME at a moment when everything is moving fast.

#LISK update: Rex Heuermann expected to make a stunning about-face and plead guilty to all 7 charges on April 8.Why now? Are there more victims? Stay with me.

We also dove into the Nancy Guthrie mystery, Laci Peterson, and one of the most haunting cases I’ve ever covered—the Connecticut home invasion.

More behind-the-scenes and exclusive reporting on my YouTube channel: The Ingle Edit. I’m working on a big episode on LISK case coming soon.

Michael Brown, has given I don't even know how many press conferences uh in front of us talking about that his client is innocent, that you know, the hair evidence that all of the evidence against him, the electronic evidence didn't match up, it wasn't him, they need to look at other people. But now Rex Herman, according to these reports and according to my sources, is in fact going to plead guilty to the seven counts against him currently.

Timestamp 3:09

So, I've got the list here of victims that he has been charged with and others that we're looking at. The ones with red
the red asterisks are the ones that he has been charged with. So, a lot of people have asked me recently, you know,
how do you keep track of everybody? And it's it's been a challenging road, you know, and I think about each and every
individual family member who has waited for justice. This is a long list, but behind this list, and if you break it
down is a family that is devastated. And now we're going to wait to see if they are going to be present at this court date.

I get what you're saying but paying over half a million just for the property seems like a dicey investment to me.
It's still a congested neighborhood with small plots of land and no views and Massapequa Park's building ordinances will limit the height and size of the new construction.
Plus it will still permeate bad juju.

Maybe AE will luck out and there's a buyer out there who's attracted to serial killer's hell-hole torture houses and will scoop it up.
imo
I don't live in LI but I'm not that far out (have relatives in LI)...I have to say 500+K for property/tear down would happen here. but I'm not there so perhaps it isn't as good of a deal...for sure that house is getting torn down - given how it looks + everything that happened. I would presume it would dampen some interest given what happened but I think someone will buy it. We have had plenty of houses sell where I am that I thought notoriety would dampen temporarily at least. Also I presume some neighbor if it is a well off area will try to prevent it being sold to one of those macabre serial killer fan types.

Its land ! If the school district is good, good access to transportation, reasonable taxes.......a home can be built and sold...a nice updated home neighbors won't complain about........I get it about bad juju....I'd sage the hell out of the land
You're right about it's land and it certainly is a desirable location.
Buzz is that it will be a contractor who eventually buys it, razes house and builds anew.
I can't get past the evil energies that will still remain from the structure and on the land that I don't believe smudging with sage could even begin to neutralize.
Rebuilding would be the best outcome for the neighbors.
imo

I agree !!!! On the day the new house is being shown I'm sure the neighbors will go out of their way to throw bbqs, bring over home-made cookies to showcase their neighborhood !!!

I got involved with Websleuths when Shannan Gilbert disappeared. The search for her, led to the discovery of the other bodies, which eventually resulted in the arrest of RH.

I do not think RH had anything with Shannan's death.

If he pleads guilty for the murders he is charged with, I wonder if he might have some information or insight into what he knows about happened to Shannan.

It could provide some closure for many people.

I agree RH wasn't involved with the death of SG.....

Just noting, I think he was, but anything he'd have to say on SG would be of great interest. It'd also be of interest to know if he retained any clippings from SG's investigation specifically.

Great point! Chances are he was involved if he had clippings about her! I wonder if they found articles about others in his home or office of women he has never been charged with!

I have written about this before, and I think we have a separate thread for the Rex/Shannan nexus...there was a a show about it I can't remember which one of the many, but they were walking around back there in that marsh where SG's body was found with a camera man. they showed how it really was not all that difficult to navigate , there were many openings and paths and spots you could see where you were and it was NOT an impossibly tangled jungle that would swallow you whole.

and then I had thoughts about Rex popping in and out of the wooded area at the park, stalking that girl with the bike.

I don't find that credible. The show you saw, were they filming in the dark with no artificial lights, no flashlights, and did they, in the dark, try running into the location to where the remains were found, and then try finding their way out? Did they do it in May at the same approximate time of the night/morning? Did they do this while in a state of fear/hysteria, such as was heard in the call to 911? I'm guessing they also didn't get cold and wet, while wearing little clothing for warmth, in order to give a realistic reenactment. They also couldn't have factored in intoxication.

Same....I feel 80/20 that he killed Shannan. I was more 50/50 until that cab driver witness.

But....time will tell, I hope. For her family, I hope there are answers.

It was much more credible than the SCPD presentation.

You have to wonder, why did SCPD lie about the 911 tape, then release a misleading video about how "dark" it was (not!)

It wasn't that cold. It wasn't that wet. And Shannan could have been dumped from the road.
