Ah the solo white hair.

I have had one for many years in one of my eyebrows.
I make a point of checking for it every so often and then ouch!!!

It's very slow growing which lulls me into thinking i've finally got it out roots and all.
Then wham! There it is again.

I like when the days become longer after the shortest day, but I have a sad feeling once the longest day is here and the days start to become shorter.

I can't help feeling it's like a countdown to another cold miserable winter.

Beautiful!
Our daughter had the American Girls doll Kirsten, a Swedish immigrant. We learned all about Santa Lucia with the book that came with, even had the wreath headdress

I live about an hour from Lindsborg, Kansas, known as Little Sweden
Just noticed this weekend is their Santa Lucia celebration!

Christmas jumpers.

Or as we know them here, not as Christmas jumpers but just as winter clothing as our winter is mid year.

Here we get the Christmas shirts that dazzle your eyes.

I told a man I loved his shirt at a Christmas lunch the other day.
He did make sure I knew he only wears it at Christmas. :)
I replied if I had that shirt I'd wear it all year round

Both winter and summer Christmas clothes so ugly, they are beautiful to my eyes :

Ugh. I do not feel like getting out of bed. What a horrible weekend. To top it off, Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, were murdered by their son, Nick. Nick had major substance abuse issues ever since he was a young teen. He is 32 years old.
