Once, on Friday 13th in December
I was literally crawling to the doctor as I had a terrible case of "stomach flu".

I had attacks of stomach seizures every 30 minutes
and was afraid of falling onto the pavement rolling with pain,
I was scared people might think I was an alcoholic lying on the street hahahaha

Well, the doctor after examining me was scrubbing her hands up to elbows with a big brush hehe

Needles to say I lost a few kilos after just 5 days.
My pupils and colleagues commented on this when I returned to work.

It was a long time ago,
but really I remember it as if it was yesterday.
I thought I was going to die.

Friday, 13th!!!

Not @Dotta, but it sounds like gastroenteritis. It’s landed me in the hospital at least half a dozen times.

most often caused by viruses
(rotaviruses, noroviruses).

I "brought" it from school.
It appears in large crowds of people
(schools, care homes, etc.)

Hazard of the teacher's job!!!!

It started suddenly (at dawn)
and finished suddenly as well.

The last day In the morning I felt terrible,
but after a nap
I woke up in the afternoon completely healthy.

It lasted 5 days.

That was a trip when it happened. It wasn't me, it was our wonderful members. I just dealt with dealing with the member/killer who was posting, trying to proclaim their innocence
The thing is, when our members come up with ideas and post them, we could very easily be helping with a case without even knowing it. Law enforcement will not tell us they are reading here and getting ideas.
What is so cool about all of you when you post and think outside the box and come up with documents and all kinds of things, you very well could be making a big difference in a case.

Quite a few times I have wondered if LE was reading here.

Someone would post something that I hadn't seen anywhere else and within the next couple of days the same idea appeared as part of a news story of the case.

It did seem to be too much of a coincidence at times.

Go to the site and see. There are many portable hand held and backpack multiband jammers for as little as a few hundred dollars to a grand. When you think of the type of crime it's being used for it that is not really that expensive.

All of them have one button and they are on "jamming", easier to operate than an iPhone.

Multiband ones jam cellular so you can't call 911, which is why it's nice to retain a land line and corded phone for emergencies.

I miss my landline, but it got so expensive. I was so happy that I had mine on 9/11, as that and the internet were the only way I could reach my family in NJ and NY. Question for anyone in the know... I got his advertisement for a landline by Community Phone, works without internet or power(like my old landline from Verizon). Anyone hear of this? With WWIII, I am considering getting some kind of landline, but haven't had one since 2011. Any advice welcome.

1966 – The spacecraft Gemini 8, flown by Neil Armstrong and David Scott, went into a dangerous uncontrolled spin in orbit after a thruster malfunction. Armstrong managed to stop it and save the crew.

According to my aunt, who is 94 yrs old, my great great grandparents died of Summer and Winter Enteritis, in the early 1900s, in New York. Look into natural preventions...If you work in schools, which I did a long time ago, make sure you take Probiotics when you take any antibiotics, as antibiotics kill good bacteria. Anything Urinary tract, take Cranberry supplements and vitamin C... Juices are full of sugar, so be careful with any of those. Just what has helped me. MOO
