I know, I know, I thought they all sounded awful before I tried them but these are sweet veggies that create bakes that have a lovely, moist texture and are never dry. You don't taste the veg.

Here is Mary Berry's beetroot and chocolate cake for example. Trust me!

Not sure if you've heard the saying... don't knock it till you've tried it. You are really missing out if you've never had carrot cake. Don't think savory as it's not a savory cake. I can understand not being able to imagine a cake made with carrots being good if you're thinking of carrots as a savory vegetable dinner side dish. It's honestly not at all what you're thinking it will be like. I would not lie to you about this! I solemnly promise.

I'll betcha a million dollars that I could sneak Dotta a piece of carrot cake and they'd be asking for seconds AND for the recipe! But to see the expression on their face when they get down to...

My late MIL used to make zucchini bread. It was very rich and delicious. More like a cake than bread.

Fighting at a party reminded me of one time I walked into a party and some lady had the SAME EXACT outfit on. Black boots, same color and type of pants, same kind and color of shirt, and the EXACT beaded vest. You could have heard a pin drop when I entered and the women (men don't care about this stuff. lol) looked at me and thought "Uh oh....".

All eyes were on me as I approached the woman and said (with a smile) "Nice outfit. You have great taste". You could hear the collective exhalation of breath as I think people where holding their breath. lol it broke the ice and I didn't have to administer an ass-whoopin'.

Just kiddin' on the last part. I was serious. She did have great taste and we became friends. Now, if I had been one of the Kardashian's... that might not have had the same outcome. lol
