The New York Times has suspended Glenn Thrush, a White House correspondent, while it investigates several allegations of sexual misconduct against him.

Several women told Vox that Thrush acted inappropriately with them when they were in their 20s and relatively inexperienced journalists and while he was an influential Washington reporter.

Thrush called one of the encounters "consensual" and said he was "deeply sorry" about another.
