Sounds like there may have been a little sarcasm in this statement. IMO

3. He is impressed by the way the pilot communicates with the police with his phone.

I didn't realize the whole interview was translated, I thought it was just a small portion. Do you remember which page it's on? I can never find anything again.
Yeah. Ok. I saw Patrick’s précis, thanks.

Thank you so much for your effort! I like this K man - he certainly speaks his mind without compunction:) Kudos to him!!![/QU

After the revealing questions exposed by the experienced police officer
the show Light in the Tunnel did not call him again! despite all the reactions of the people.
Expecting to create a climate of trust between the journalist
Angeliki Nikolouli and the pilot so that he would agree to meet with her.
Angeliki Nikolouli she did that in past successfully and trapped some criminals in interviews

I see him as being like Poirot. He has that kind of sense of humour.

A man with a sense of humour:) I like him even more haha

Thansk for going to all that trouble, Muglericious!

It's fascinating reading.

It wasn't translated word for word, just the overall themes, like 1) of course they were a fairytale couple, he even flew his helicopter out to their school conference! 2) she only got to see C during summer when C returned to the island and 3) everybody was so impressed by how he doted over C all the time!

No, I have no idea. Maybe you could do a search? This is why we need a fluid chart of all the players and facts/rumors/leads/developments!
Yes, I remember all that. It just seems like she was talking a lot more than what was written in the translation. She also said she envied their relationship, and hoped she could have something like what Caroline had, or something like that. I really don't need to find it again if that's all she said.

Ok, here's everything we know thus far from Faidra's interview:

This video below is the first Light in the Tunnel episode. Do you see the part you're referring to? At what time inverval is it?

tayaway's post #49
Yes! That's it! Faidra's pic shows up at 1:04:09. I'm assuming that the few minutes before that, the tv host is introducing her segment! Please, have a watch.

Patrick's post #50
It weird, though. If that's the same person in the interview as in the picture, then why is the interview done with her back turned to the camera? It sounds like they want to hide her identity and they don't refer to her by name.

It's about a five minute interview which is, at times, hard to hear because she's very distraught and crying over the loss of her friend. This friend lives on the small island where she and the victim went to school and grew up together. She talks about B and CC's relationship. I didn't catch anything about CC not having friends where she lived with B. Regarding this friend in particular, it would make sense that CC rarely saw this friend, because she moved off the island sometime after her marriage to B.

Patrick's post #54

In regard to her saying anything about CC's friends on the mainland, I listened again to see if maybe I missed something. Maybe this friend said something in another interview? Or maybe it was a bad translation? The only thing I could see along these lines that might have been mistranslated was, at one point this friend says, "she (CC) complained to me that she didn't want us to lose touch with one another." In the context of this friend living on the island and the CC living on the mainland, this makes sense to me as meaning just what it says, as CC wanting to keep in touch with her close friend. I wouldn't make any inferences from this that that meant CC had a lack of friends on the mainland.

She says CC had a little problem with the pregnancy, the baby was a little premature, but everything was fine. Recently she asked her how she (CC) was doing with the baby, and she said she was very happy that she had had the baby, that they played together all the time, and CC had a wonderful time with her baby.

The interviewer says that CC was living her dream, it was a fairy tale love story. The friend agrees and says it was a fairy tale. She remember one time they had gone to Volos for a student conference and were getting ready to leave (Volos and return to the island presumably) midday. And she remembers that B arrived that day, by bus, only for two hours, and he brought CC some things, and (in order) to see her, and afterwards they (just the students and without B presumably) were going to leave. "Unimaginable, it appeared an unimaginable love. I was jealous of this type of love. I marveled at it. I believed that someday 'oh, maybe I'd too' (have a love like that). It was like a fairy tale. He'd come (frequently) by helicopter to see her . . . since, you could see this when you went out, that when he'd look at her, he'd melt. When he'd look at her, he'd melt."

How considerate of the robbers to leave the phone hihi
LE speculated that one reason for leaving the phone behind was that the robbers thought he was already dead.

But I thought he wasn't badly injured ?

I think police were speculating that when he was unconscious the robbers thought he was dead. In other words, if he wasn't moving, he appeared to be dead.

I must say...
The professionalism of all you sleuthers on this case is above and beyond!!!
And I applaud you all for that!

Additionally... I admit to being behind in this thread... so I will not even VENTURE a guess to ANY answers surrounding this case...

What I DO have to admit is that every time I read about the horrific circumstances surrounding the demise of the family's pup I often consider turning away from this case... as I am not up to dealing with not only the demise of the pup... but the demise of this beautiful, seemingly sweet gal, CC...

So many RED FLAGS stand out to me... and I find it difficult to not cry out "B.S." on everything the husband has said and done...

Forgive me...(or not) .....for my candid response...
but... I just had to say my piece before my head exploded...

All... JMO...

Did we know about the ladder found at the airport where B worked? I wonder what that is all about. It also says they are still looking for the dark car. Also, I didn't know they were looking for three Albanian suspects. I didn't realize LE had narrowed it down, or that all three were from Albania.

From the translated version of Dotta's last link:

Significant developments are expected in the next 24 hours in the police investigation to solve the murder of 20-year-old Caroline on May 11th in Freshwaters. According to secure information, the persistent efforts of the police officers of the Homicide Department of Security are said to have resulted in findings capable of revealing what really happened in the Freshwater maisonette...

the officials of the Security and Criminal Investigation Directorate thoroughly investigated the interiors of the maisonette, without any findings confirming the presence of robbers. They also sought testimony and CCTV footage showing the presence of robbers in the house and revealing evidence of their escape. In this case, however, results have not been obtained either.

However, the information provided by "K" suggests that technical analyses carried out over the last 24 hours by the officers of the Homicide Division have already revealed important elements in the case that is disturbing public opinion. The new data is even expected to come to the attention of the 20-year-old's husband in the next period.
