What he said to Caroline's mother:

At the same time, according to ANT1, the 32-year-old allegedly told Caroline's mother that he was going to Athens to identify a suspect arrested by the authorities at the airport.

Caroline's mother, anxious and troubled, hurried to her son-in-law and asked him why the police were asking him to go to Athens.

"It simply came to our notice then. "There is a person who has been arrested and whom I have to see up close and identify," the 32-year-old was quoted as saying.

If the police are saying CC's smart watch demonstrates that she had a pulse at a certain time which conflicts with B's version of her TOD, that would mean that she died later than he told police... but he didn't tell the police when she died - he said he didn't know she was dead until the police told him.

No, it was the wrong article. I just woke up again after a nap, checked the news, and the title said something like Husband brought in again for questioning, but I didn't check the date. That's what I get for jumping in before I've had my tea! I thought the "other man" must have been the guy at the airport, but they were probably talking about the first man they caught at the border.

I haven't read the thread in a few hours. Any news about the other man? Could it be a woman and it got lost in translation?

I was confused about that, too. It would make sense if it showed she died much earlier than when the robbers reportedly entered, or after they left, if they are looking for conflicting statements. Imo

There was always something weird about her TOD.
A police officer interviewed (linked on last thread somewhere) was evasive about where the TOD info came from. Said it was 04.30am or something but that was only 'based on the information I've been given'.

Καταιγιστικές είναι οι εξελίξεις σχετικά με την υπόθεση δολοφονίας της άτυχης Καρολάιν στα Γλυκά Νερά που έρχονται σήμερα στο φως της δημοσιότητας, ανατρέποντας στην ουσία όσα γνώριζαν μέχρι σήμερα οι αστυνομικοί.

Σύμφωνα με όσα είπε στην εκπομπή του MEGA, LIVE NEWS, ο αστυνομικός συντάκτης του Βήματος και των Νέων, Βασίλης Λαμπρόπουλος, η αδικοχαμένη κοπέλα αντάλλαξε κάποια μηνύματα με τον σύζυγό της, ενώ βρισκόταν στη σοφίτα και ο 32χρονος στο υπόγειο . Από τα μηνύματα και τη φρασεολογία δημιουργείται η εντύπωση, όπως μεταδίδεται ότι, το ζευγάρι είχε προστριβή.

Στα SMS υπάρχει φρασεολογία που παραπέμπει σε προστριβή, ενώ οι χαρακτηρισμοί είναι στα αγγλικά. Μάλιστα, το Live News ανέφερε ότι μία από τις λέξεις-επίθετα που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν το «stupid», χωρίς πάντως να είναι αυτή τη στιγμή σίγουρο αν η λέξη αυτή χρησιμοποιήθηκε πάνω σε ένταση ή αν χρησιμοποιήθηκε χαριτολογώντας.
