There was always something weird about her TOD.
A police officer interviewed (linked on last thread somewhere) was evasive about where the TOD info came from. Said it was 04.30am or something but that was only 'based on the information I've been given'.
Yes, good thinking. If she was wearing a Fitbit they might know exactly when her pulse stopped, or at least when it was taken off.

No wonder the neighbours heard nothing.

this confirms my earlier speculation (in the first thread) that a pillow was used for the suffocation
we'll see if my speculation that she was attacked while asleep will be confirmed later. MOO

Yes, there was an article that said the last vid on that camera was of B with their baby, on the downstairs couch, around 1 am, which contradicts his statement of all 3 of them already sleeping upstairs in the attic. I will try to find the article again to link.
Oops I thought it was 2:00 am. I just added it to my post because I had left out the time.

Well, he is now a person of interest so can be sleuthed.

  • #945
Exactly!
but there wasn't time?

edited... oh yeah there was.
There was a gap between 'thieves exiting' and police called.
Didn't LE say her legs looked pale or white when they arrived? That points to her being dead longer. It also makes more sense that the house was staged after she died, especially the taping and wrapping the twine around like a sausage.

I'm not sure. I think it has to be officially announced by LE. Or an arrest has to be made. For now we can discuss everything that's been reported and draw opinions from that. There is certainly plenty of information to discuss as it is. IMO

Yes I agree. It hasn't been announced officially, plus no arrest yet.

Edited to say how soon things can change.

Do you have a source for that?

Whoa now, he liked C living like a hermit, as we know from others, that she had no friends there, and he planned to move them to a more isolated area, which C didn't want - but - Babis had his own pilot career and life outside their home. He was no hermit.
I think that @Dotta was just being mischievous and satirical. We all need some lighthearted input in amongst all of this doom and gloom occasionally.

Greek cops probing murder of Brit mum say smartwatch suggests she didn't die at time husband says | Daily Mail Online
''Police probing murder of Briton Caroline Crouch at her Greek home say her smartwatch biometrics suggest she did not die at the time her husband says intruders killed her

  • 20-year-old was killed in front of her daughter at home near Athens on May 11
  • Police say they've extracted biometric data from her smartwatch from the night
  • Husband Charalambos 'Babis' Anagnostopoulos has been asked to speak to cops
  • They believe the timings the pilot gave for her death differ from the watch data''
''Detectives have extracted biometric data from Caroline's watch which they believe pinpoints the exact moment her heart stopped beating.

Officers summoned Mr Anagnostopoulos for an interview on Thursday as they believe the data doesn't match with his timeline, local media reported.

They also believe the couple were bickering in the hours before her death, with text messages exchanged in English showing one had called the other 'stupid.' ''

''New evidence retrieved by digital forensics specialists has also turned up another clue on the CCTV recording equipment that was running at the couple's home.
On the night of the murder, the memory card was removed from the device - but the clock on the recorder appears to deviate from the timings provided by Mr Anagnostopoulos.''

So this source is only saying the data is not consistent with his timeline of events. I bet it was actually before the time he said he woke up and used the phone with his nose.

I knew it all along!

My hinky meter has been the strongest it's ever been over this case.

When I thought of the case every nerve in my body was like a warning bell going off saying it was him that did it.

The Police, according to information from Proto THEMA, have sufficient information at their disposal that documents that the murderer of 20-year-old Caroline is her husband Charalambos Anagnostopoulos - The evidence comes mainly from the analysis with the help of camera data technology, mobile phones the couple's phones and the victim's biometric watch - Public opinion is silent

Excuse me, Thema, but the public opinion started screaming that B was guilty, from day one! Also, yes, you see, cameras aren't empty vessels that don't hold data, leaving it all to memory cards, Prince Charming Mr. Fairytale Man, mr. 'Together Forever'

I'm still waiting for the official news release by the police... however right now there are hundreds of reports like the one I attached above.

Agreed.
From the moment we heard about the 'nose dialling'.

Still saying strangled in press. Is there still a differing opinion/translation of strangulation v suffocation ongoing?

So they were arguing too in hours before her death. Always felt suspicious this case right from the start.

The news reports here haven't announced anything official though, the one I'm watching right now states that he's still being questioned. What the...?
