What is a moral accomplice?

When someone is complicit in the wrongdoing of a principal actor, then that person is also guilty of wrongdoing. There is something he or she does (or omits to do) by virtue of which he or she becomes complicit in the wrongdoing of the principal actor, and this action or omission constitutes moral wrongdoing.

The representative of the Police, answering a relevant question, said that the police investigation has been completed and it did not reveal the involvement of a third person in the commission of the crime in Glyka Nera, ie there was no evidence that anyone helped the 33-year-old in the heinous crime. He added, however, that the investigation is now under the responsibility of the investigating authorities and is continuing, leaving open the possibility of new findings in the future.

"We are waiting for an order for any other action needed"

Έγκλημα στα Γλυκά Νερά - Εκπρόσωπος Αστυνομίας: Δεν προκύπτει εμπλοκή τρίτου προσώπου

So what they are talking about is a physical accomplice not a moral accomplice.

"Greek Police Spokesperson, ms Anna Efthimiou, talked to ANT1 about the evidence and the course of the investigation, as well as the contact between LE and the killer, from the moment he made that 911 call on May 11th, to the day he confessed his wife's murder.
As she pointed out, Caroline's husband described to the officers his version of how the crime (the killing) happened, even before they had the chance to lay him out the results that emerged from the investigation, that disproved many of his previous witness statements.
As an answer to a relevant question, ms Efthimiou stated that the police investigation is complete, and it didn't uncover the involvement of a third party. There was no evidence found supporting that the the killer had help in committing the horrific crime. She added, though, that the investigation has now been handed to the Interrogative Authorities (I suppose this means the state, the prosecution), and it is ongoing, leaving the possibility of future findings being discovered open.
Another Police Representative, mr Apostolos Srekas, told ERT "We're awaiting orders for any future action necessary. Anything could arise from the main interrogation."

The way some of these reports are written (in Greek), it's as if the authors are purposefully trying to make the life of anyone attempting to translate them miserable:D

I feel so sorry for Caroline’s family and her baby. Many of us will have suspected him from the start but for all we know they believed his lies and he comforted them at the funeral. Has he no conscience? Lie after lie after lie. What is the process in Greece now that he has admitted it? I hope the baby is with Caroline’s family. I feel so sorry for them all. I also wonder who leaked the diary entries and are we 100% sure that she did actually write them? A diary/journal is a very personal thing. It is all so sad.

Typical victim blaming! B seems to be trying to get away with manslaughter rather than premeditated murder.
Exactly.
There was a case in the UK where the husband claimed he killed his wife because she was mistreating their children. The facts were that he was living a double life, seeing other women, one of whom had become pregnant and was now demanding that she spend the night with him in HIS home, so he 'had' to get rid of his wife. He killed his wife, put her body in a suitcase and hid her in the cellar for weeks, sending messages from her phone from her facebook etc, claiming she was living with another man in Spain. He got life imprisonment.

So B confessed before evidence was presented to him. BUT I think
he confessed MUCH earlier. When he provided the sketch - it was a spitting image of him. I think he wanted to be caught (unconsciously), all this proved too much for his psyche. He also, allegedly, asked for the harshest sentence. He is a very disturbed man.

There have been reports of how a 32-year-old pilot helicopter had the financial ability to buy land in an expensive area of Attica/Athens,
and they leave censure for the origin of his financial prosperity. The reports saying that the monster had an extramarital affair or for having at home some strange "commodities", drugs? smuggled items? what?
Given out our geographical location (Balkans) i am not surprised. Mr. Katerinopoulos on the show Light in the Tunnel 6/18/21
said that one of the couple rented or was looking to rent a house in the area of Souda (Crete) located near the American Base.
He also said that the crime was not committed for the reasons the offender presents . He said that his motive was different and the investigator needs to interrogate the pilot more so he can figure out the real reason.
He said Caroline probably learned about these illegal activities and had to pay for this with her life. He said he may not have had an accomplice but moral accomplice.
Angeliki Nikolouli received a phone call which made her pale and hang up shortly after the phone with characteristic movement, something we have not seen her do again. Apparently the public does not know the ENTIRE truth.
Angeliki Nikolouli insists that the owner of the black BMW has something to do with the crime. did they come to get something from home?

So the investigation has not found a physical accomplice but there is a possible moral accomplice.

Surely investigators could ask B to prove how he could afford to buy a block of land in the expensive area of Attica by asking for his bank accounts. If he says he paid in cash, where did he get the money from? Was it as a result of money laundering from drug money?

As Greek crime groups have infiltrated the shipping industry, which is used to traffic cocaine and heroin into the Greek mainland and abroad, could B and his accomplice have been involved in drug trafficking perhaps even by helicopter?
Did B secretly store it in his house? Is that why he had CCTV cameras to make sure he would know if C found his stash? Perhaps the day before C's murder, B found out that C had found his stash of drugs. He phoned his moral accomplice and they decided that there was now a threat that C (if she left B) would report it to police so they decided that C's life had to end so they concocted the burglar story and that B's accomplice would drive around and pick up the stash of drugs in the black BMW. They had already realised that they needed another base to store the drugs last April so they had gone to Souda in Crete looking for a house in which to build a base for drug trafficking.

Investigators need to find out the source of the information about B and his accomplice going to Souda looking for a place to rent. What proof does AK have of this?

That is my take on this. What's yours?

I feel it is highly probably to be a scenario similar to the one you have described. I think it was something to do with his illegal activities which caused her murder.

AK has been telling us repeatedly in his interviews that the ανακριτής, the "interrogator" or "examining judge/magistrate," has A LOT of work to do to pull back the curtain behind the curtain and find out more about these criminal activities and bring to justice the moral accessory/accessory before the fact.

The way some of these reports are written (in Greek), it's as if the authors are purposefully trying to make the life of anyone attempting to translate them miserable:D

I completely agree!:)

IMO there is something about Souda that will come out. Why Souda?

I agree that the Souda link looks like an important clue. You've got an airport, U.S. (and Greek and NATO) Naval Base, and access to Souda port. As you suggest drug smuggling is one possibility.

He might have been involved in sth dodgy - I agree. But I disagree that C's murder was part of shady business. The killing of Caroline was personal - the result of absolutely toxic relationship.

But at the age of 20yo with an eleven month old baby, how could C leave B unless she could afford to pay for a flight back to the island where her parents were and live with them? Did she have any money? IMO C would have stayed with B until she could earn money.

The only way out of a toxic relationship is to not tell them you are leaving.

We don't know what her financial situation was. We do know that she was actively looking for another place to live, without B.

BBM

In the last AK media interview I posted, two of the people on the show asked him about this. And he just said, "I'll leave it there," as in "that's all I'm saying" and "you all take it however you'd like."

But AK has been doing this since Day 1 and used the same approach when he was hinting around at B's guilt. So IMO AK has to be basing this on some proof. I think following the money, and the money trail is a key part of it.

Snipped by me

Could Angeliki Nikolouli have received a threatening phone call? Other investigative journalists have been bumped off for getting too close IMO
