I don't know how a person can commit suicide by shooting themselves in the head and heart - after the 1st, you can't possibly pull off the second. I'm assuming that their deaths had more to do about something akin to the local drug or human trafficking trades. MOO

They say he didn't get a direct hit on his heart then targeted his temple, and he left a note.
Maybe Babis' dear friend's death has nothing to do with the very connected cop taken out with 5 bullets in a contract killing right in front of his pub but dang, it looks like a message there, or the list in a cop's house of restaurants and pubs and a pile of money, or the findings of police corruption disappearing and they all just retire instead of being prosecuted, with pensions no doubt, or the Greek cop going into Turkey in a shootout with a Turkish drug runner.
There's a lot to take in at that fimes.gr site.
Contract killings, piles of cash, secret storage houses, well known politicians, police corruption, extrajudicial killings outside borders, international drug smuggling, secret gay lovers and a dead child bride and her pup, oh my!
No wonder Babis is in a bullet proof vest escorted by a swat team, he should be fine as long as a cop or cellmate doesn't kill him. Or even a lawyer.

The question of suicide by 2 bullets. He attempted to shoot himself in the heart but narrowly hit next to it so he shot himself in the head? [Ok, seriously, what person about to commit suicide goes for the heart instead of the head? They don't even do that in the movies.]

I think there's a good reason to find other motives.
Crime of passion defense gets a lower sentence, because it's understood, how can you help yourself if you suspect another lover? Someone has to die.
(It's also been used for gay and trans panic defense)
The first time it was used was in the 1800's when a US congressment and Union Major General killed his wife's lover, who was a US Attorney and the son of Francis Scott Key, she wrote the US national anthem, 'Star Spangled Banner'.

I only posted a small part of what the Greek press and "K", (retired brigadier who leads the Union of Greek police officers) are saying, there's so much connecting to specific crimes and mobsters that I know nothing about so I only printed a few questions they are asking that I could understand.

Right, because all men who murder their wives get a bullet proof vest and their own personal swat team every time they step out for court.

It is not unusual in Greece for suspects to be taken to and from court wearing bullet proof vests and with heavy security, especially in cases where there is high emotion and revulsion amongst the public (murder, rape, torture, child abuse, etc). It is not just reserved for organised crime. The authorities must ensure that the suspect comes to no harm while being transported to and from court and in cases such as those there is a chance that someone (a stranger or relative, for example) could take it upon themselves to avenge the victim.

"His mother spent many years teaching in Alonissos, and in fact B attended school here for many (school)years.".
It doesn't clarify, and I don't remember reading anywhere, if his mother taught at the school while Caroline was a student there.
