It is not unusual in Greece for suspects to be taken to and from court wearing bullet proof vests and with heavy security, especially in cases where there is high emotion and revulsion amongst the public (murder, rape, torture, child abuse, etc). It is not just reserved for organised crime. The authorities must ensure that the suspect comes to no harm while being transported to and from court and in cases such as those there is a chance that someone (a stranger or relative, for example) could take it upon themselves to avenge the victim.
It makes sense. Otherwise he might be transported in a vehicle.

Using a police van or truck, like they do in the UK, and bringing him in through a back/side door would also be much more economical on the taxpayers who are footing the bill.

While C was searching online for a place to take the baby and stay, to get away from B, he was surfing the net, and spent some time reading up on the story of a 20 something male who allegedly exposed himself to a woman. It's really difficult to understand the auto translation, but it appears LE is trying to figure out why B did this, after he had planned to kill C. Maybe it was because he was bored while waiting for C to fall asleep?

Of course we've seen a few guards around perps, but when was the last time you've seen TWENTY S.W.A.T. team members surrounding a perp (with two or more of the S.W.A.T. team with rifles out and ready) who wasn't involved in terrorism or organized crime? Can you cite a specific case? With photos and videos? I don't think even the leader of Golden Dawn (neo-nazi party) had such a high level of police protection. Or Nov. 17 domestic terrorists.

There was in fact a motorcade to the courthouse for B. Four or five vehicles. As if he was a head of state arriving with security. You've seen that before? When? Post the photos and videos. I don't believe it.

Regarding the screenshot on C's phone of B and the baby in the sitting room, I'm thinking it's possible she took it accidentally whilst checking to see what was happening in the sitting room (baby or B-wise). Or does it take a deliberate effort to take a screenshot from a cctv app? (just thinking out loud).

I've got news for you, no spousal killer in Greece's recent history has been given a bulletproof vest and OPKE swat team protection to court. I stand by what I said.

Relieved to see you reaffirm this!

One of the rumors (and I'm sorry, I don't have the link right now, because there are a bazillion articles daily about this case and I can't find it) is that C took that pic to show that B held onto the baby so she couldn't leave with her.

So it seems before killing C he was killing time.

Does anyone know if there's been any update on the suicide of B's friend? like... the contents of his suicide note?

Here's a video of the leader of the Golden Dawn (neo-nazi) party and other senior members of the party being led to court. The leader is the one in glasses and carrying a briefcase. There are three guards protecting him. One on each side of him, and one behind him (visible on the video from 0:01-0:10). This pattern of three guards is repeated on the senior party member in the blue shirt who has a guard escort of three guards (visible on the video from 0:10-0:19). The first senior member led in to court (also wearing a blue shirt), was led in before the leader, and had only two guards (visible on the video from 0:00-0:01)

B had about twenty guards protecting him. That's over SIX times the amount that were given to protecting the leader of the Golden Dawn party. Why is B being given such extreme protection?

If C's family gets the custody of baby L - does it mean B will have no legal rights to his daughter? Is it like adoption?

From that same article

"It is unknown at this time whether the authorities were able to locate the card, but developments in the case are expected to be cataclysmic." bbm

1.Because it is a high profile case? 2.Because B is a mobster? 3.Because the Greeks being artists like dramatic effects?

I do not think it would be for dramatic effect and it has been proved the same degree of security has not been used in other high profile cases.

My take on it is that the police are aware that there are people around who very much do not want B to start talking.

We will soon get the answer in the next episode. Now we are left with a cliffhanger.

Twelve "I"s and eight "my"s - that says it all.

You are so right, it is all about himself. He needs to remember that there is no ‘I’ in ‘Murder’

B maintains that everything he did since murdering C was “with his daughter in mind”.

Could it be that when C found out about his nefarious activities, he was given an ultimatum - kill C or we will kill your daughter.

And the black car outside was to send a signal to B that they meant it - and it had to be that night. JIMO
