Here's another question.... how do the rest of Casey's family feel about the possibility that Casey is responsible for Caylee's death?

Isn't it possible for them it really IS "all about Caylee?"

I really think the public will support any decisions LE makes IF it's in the best interests of seeking justice for this innocent baby.
Put yourself in say George's mom's position. How would you feel? Caylee was your great-grandbaby. You are heartborken right about now. Confused that Cindy and George ate acting this way. Angry because Casey could have done something this horrible. Then two months from now you find out that LE thought it to be in its best interest not to tell anyone that she as gone? Prolonged your grief unecessarily. How would you feel? But really that is a situation you can't really answer off the cuff or in advance. You (nor I) don't really know how we would feel if put in that situation.

I'm just saying I don't believe Caylee is dead.

To tell the truth, I don't think I've heard anything about any extended family except for the visit on Father's Day.... and even that was only Cindy & Caylee.

(I'm not so sure I'm buying the "Rick" poster either.... anyone can easily read about this case & then make up a whole 'history' of the Anthony family.)

I think, under normal circumstances, a victim's MOTHER or FATHER would have a right to be kept up to date by LE..... not so much an extended family. LE cannot afford to get emotionally involved in anything other than justice for the victim.... that's my story & I'm sticking with it. lol

And in this case.... I think LE made it crystal clear... they are NOT happy with the way the Anthony family has made the search for Caylee harder.

But, Swag, I respect your opinion AND your belief that Caylee is still alive. I sure hope you're right.... we all hope she is.

So no one is talking to the media because of FBI's rules instructing them not to? Is it a crime? Because George and Cindy have spoken to the FBI.

I don't think it's a crime. I think LE and/or FBI would tell someone they've interviewed that it would be appreciated if they didn't discuss what they've talked about, but I don't think they can demand that you don't say anything. Most people would cooperate by not saying anything.

In this case, we can assume that all of Casey's friends have been interviewed at length, including a lot we probably don't know about. After reviewing the cell phone logs, LE probably interviewed people Casey made calls to, or received calls from.

Of the friends we know about, the only one who's spoken to the media is Clint. There's been no interviews with Tony, Amy, Ricardo, Christine, or any of Casey's other friends.

I question how close the extended family is to the Anthonys. They're certainly not making any public shows of support.

LE are the only ones who are looking to obtain justice for Caylee. The family's behavior is so disturbing that I just don't think the general tree-hugging public are in any way going to identify with their lies, denials and all-around weirdness.

That is a good point. My whole extended family would be in and out of my house if that happened to us. Not to mention my friends and all my neighbors who would be coming around to bring food and try to help.

Where are all these people?

Exactly what I was trying to get it!!!!!

RUMOR has it that Cindy has told them all to stay away or is simply now not talking to them.

YES - IMO they are a big, huge part of this curcus and yet are so strangely absent from the stage now aren't they?[/QUOTE]

its only a circus because America is asking for more and more of this story i have the strong thought if people and reporters would back of peoples lawn then maybe the "circus would stop!!!!

Yes Melissa that is sadly true. I wonder why this case? Why this middle class party girl? And now we have all these high rollers offering their services "pro bono" - something just smells to me and it ain't just that car.

That's a question I've been asking for a few weeks now. There is no one.

In regards to the possibility of a brother in N.C., I did do some research and there is a man by that name in Myrtle Beach. He mentioned another brother that lives near great-grandmother, and I found him too. There were a few by that surname in the state of Florida, so I think it would be somewhat difficult to come up with one nearby the great-grandmother.

I think those beyond the immediate family are somewhat estranged.

I don't really have a problem with that....

some people feel better if they have outside support but some people prefer to deal with things in a very private way (only immediate family) & it might be more stressful for them to have 'outsiders' around.

Especially since they've had so much trouble with Casey (the lying, stealing, pregnancy, immaturity, etc) they just might not be able to deal with the idea that people will start with the second guessing about what they should have, could have done to possibly foresee this horrible tragedy.

I do have sympathy for them as far as the mess Casey has laid at their door but I just can't agree with the way they choose to very publically defend Casey. They should have kept those feelings to themselves, after a quick, "We love our daughter & want her to know that."

Greta is going for it..........any indication that there will be an effort to find Caylee. He hasn't changed his mind on this and thinks that's the goal. He wants her dropped off at a drug store somewhere.

Where does he come up with the theory that Caylee was handed off to someone? He talks about half truths and says he thinks it wasn't Zenaida. LE looking for her dead, LP is looking for her alive.

Greta is pressing LP for why he thinks that way.

At first, I thought it was immature that someone posted LP referred to Casey as Stacey. Because, I have seen reporters on NG mess up the names... Andersons/Alexanders. BUT, he did it AGAIN!!! WTHeck?!

Oh geeze here he is with the "drug store and then claim the reward" scenario again. WHY does he keep saying that? How can someone who has held her and supposedly kidnapped her all this time claim the reward??

"Hello I'm here to claim the reward, I'm the one who kidnapped Caylee and dropped her off at Walgreens two days ago." Huh????

Every time he says that it irritates the heck out of me. It makes NO sense.

Yes, I am sure if someone HAS her -they are not going to call for a reward after leaving her somewhere. ick!

What if the someone that has her really doesn't care a flyin' flip about the money? What if the someone that has her has more money than he/she needs?

All the names starting with C... sometimes it's easy to mix up the names... but Stacey? lol

Though in his defense, some people are just naturally awful with names.... my father used to have to go through all us kids' names (only 3 of us, shouldn't be that hard to remember!) before he hit on the right one.

It was pretty funny when he'd even try the dog's name once in a while.... though my sister wasn't so amused. Woof! lol

One of Casey's friends has more money than he/she needs?

Yeah, I'm buying that story. lol

I have done my homework on this case. And it could very well be possible. Our lil Miss Casey runs with a very affulent crowd - thus the need to use the word "nanny".

Greta pinning him down on what sort of threats they're getting. Some come email, some on the phone.

I do not doubt that threats are coming. I think the threats are coming from people who think that Casey is a baby killer and that everyone helping her are covering things up. I am not stating that Casey or her family did any of this, or are innocent. I am just saying I think threats would come from people who believe no one is truly looking for, protecting, and grieving Caylee-an innocent victim. There was mention that LE was trying to look over 1300plus tips within the past month?!

  • #379
Oh yea the threats are coming fast and furious. Just because there are some real crazies in this world. Did you hear him - burn down the house, kill Casey, kill Padilla, and I bet some of them get described in detail. That's a given.

Not only does LP get the names wrong, but he can't seem to remember the name of the missing Caylee. He keeps calling her "the child", "the baby", "the little girl", and one time tonight he called her "it."
