I've actually considered the possibility that Casey's defense will be something related to her reported seizures.

I posted this earlier (in some thread)

IF the seizure story is true, I think the defense will definitely try to use it to her advantage.

But I have my doubts it was actually a seizure.... it's curious that her family never confirmed that poor Casey has a medical condition. She could have OD'ed or had alcohol poisoning.

We'll see IF the defense gets the records from the ER.

This is going to be one interesting trial, in any event.

Ok, now goodnight for real! Ab-solutely! ;)

You guys ARE kidding, aren't you??? I mean, you don't really think the general public will be allowed anywhere near the family, do you???!!!! IIRC, I believe the last vigil they had, last week sometime, was inside the home and just for invited guests.

No I'm NOT kidding!!!!!! I live down the street (walking distance). Last week they had one outside, not inside. I had a neighbor go to one with members of the church. They ARE open to the public.

I was almost drinking the Koolaid and then I went back and listend to all three 911 calls and then watched Cindy's testimony at the bond hearing. It is very clear that Cindy is lying and the prosecutor can see right through her. She shredded her at the bond hearing just think what she would do at trial. They don't need to be in a rush to charge her yet, they are documenting all of the Anthony's lies. They know where to find Casey if they need her let them wait.

Oh geeze here he is with the "drug store and then claim the reward" scenario again. WHY does he keep saying that? How can someone who has held her and supposedly kidnapped her all this time claim the reward??

"Hello I'm here to claim the reward, I'm the one who kidnapped Caylee and dropped her off at Walgreens two days ago." Huh????

Every time he says that it irritates the heck out of me. It makes NO sense.

I would think that if this were to happen, this person who tries to claim taking Caylee and dropping her off would be arrested as soon as their hands extend for the reward..
I fully agree if someone has her to drop her off in a safe location, but to call back and try to claim the reward is just off the wall to me..

hmmmm-- I wonder what city codes there are against the bounty hunters working/living out of that RV.

yeah, if they have a homeowners association, that's usually not allowed.
but maybe they HOA has given up at this point. I can only imagine trying to sell a house in that neighborhood right now. that's a terrible situation for those people. They will never sell their homes now.

why doesnt the mother simply tell the grandparents who she gave the baby to ?

isnt that a simple enough question ?

geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

they are spinning this into rocket science and its simple math

she has...ZENAIDA FERNANDEZ-GONZALEZ with a hyphen. but I feel what your saying. FRUSTRATING!

If I was one of their neighbors my whole family would be walking along the sidewalk in front of their house with signs "Casey, Where Is Caylee!":furious:

I agree. IMO, that's what's taking so long. There are SO MANY lies for LE to sift through.

I agree that Padilla looked somewhat subdued or defeated last night. Also Baez with that whole "relaxing evening" thing. I still don't understand how you relax when your child or grandchild is missing? I panick if mine gets seperated from me in a store. I have been in WalMart when a child is lost, every parent in there looks terrified and holds on to their kid a little tighter. One other question, if they really believed someone had her, why didn't they park that big billboard in front of their house? It would have got much more media attention than driving it around. Makes no sense to me.

Good idea. You might be onto something.

What if there is a Kidnapper & Caylee is still alive & God forbid they Kill Caylee a week from now. You don't think the Public would be upset at LE for wasting all their time in the Anthony's back yard instead of issuing an Amber Alert? It's obvious that they think Casey killed Caylee & I don't think they are out there looking for any kidnappers.

Yeah, except LE doesn't read minds. They can only go where Casey points them and if everywhere she is pointing them is a lie, or if she won't point them anywhere at all becasue she 'doesn't trust the police,' there's not a whole lot they can do beyond checking out locations and connections obviously related to her. Amber Alerts seem to be issued for situations actively in progress. Caylee had been gone for '31 days,' in the words of her mom. That's cold not hot.

Criteria for Amber Alert
http://www.amberalert.gov/guidelines.htm

For an AMBER Alert to be effective in recovering a missing child, the law enforcement agency must have enough information to believe that an immediate broadcast to the public will enhance the efforts of law enforcement to locate the child and apprehend the suspect. This element requires as much descriptive information as possible about the abducted child and the abduction, as well as descriptive information about the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle. Issuing alerts in the absence of significant information that an abduction has occurred could lead to abuse of the system and ultimately weaken its effectiveness.

I think LE didn't have ugots to issue an Amber alert. They had no idea what Caylee would be wearing that day, since she'd been gone for 31, and the certainly had no idea who the 'kidnapper' was, what she (or he) looked like, lived, had ever lived or he worked, or what type of car she (or he) drove Caylee away in, or any indication that such a person even existed or that an abduction had actually occured. Casey didn't give the cops anything they could use, for either an Amber alert, or to save her from being killed later if she was still alive when the report was made. THAT has been the problem all along. If, God forbid, Caylee was killed after Cindy reported her missing, that's on Casey, not on the cops.

I have done my homework on this case. And it could very well be possible. Our lil Miss Casey runs with a very affulent crowd - thus the need to use the word "nanny".

can you say more of who that "affluent crowd" may be? Why do you think this?

Too Bad Casey doesn't have a neighbor like Sharon B. (Stacy Peterson's friend and neighbor)
Sharon would be out there raising all kinds of commotion.

If she has seizures there will be a medical history...she can not create a history in a few days or a month....I do not think any Dr. is willing to get caught up in her BS.
But Seizures do not make you lie, or not talk...
However Cult upbringing does teach silence and if her Mom was tangled up with a cult group and has a son from a cult leader there can definitely be some of that cult behavior. Just think of that polygamist group from Ohio they did not talk either after they took all their kids away.
Casey seems relaxed about it, and somewhere I read her Mom Cindy was tangled up with a cult leader with whom she still in touch and that Casey had an intimate relationship with him and maybe Caylee is his. Can this story get more twisted????
GOD PROTECT THAT BABY AND BRING HER HOME SAFE.

Hi Sweetie :)
Yes I know...a twisted mind can create havoc.
I pray that Caylee will be found and taken away from her.

  • #417
Baez-we will be going over her defense (first) and then talk about finding Caylee (second).

And THAT tells me everything I need to know about where Caylee might be. If there was any chance of rescuing a live child, bringing her home would be the first topic of conversation.

Horrible attorney...

I HATE to admit this, but I'd say he's actually done a pretty good job so far. He's successfully kept her from saying anything else to incriminate herself, and he got total strangers to fly across the country, and spend $50K+ of their own money to bail her out of jail. After which he tells them they can't question her either. That was pretty slick if you ask me.

Just what a rich person needs... to kidnap a baby as a favor for some high school dropout party girl.

What could go wrong? lol

I wonder why Casey doesn't just say an alligator ate her baby & she was SO horrified she had a seizure AND got amnesia... the next thing she knew, her mother was demanding she come home & suddenly she realized Caylee was missing.

It would be so much nicer than causing trouble for her ex-friends. Blame it on a gator! That's the ticket. lol

Forget the alligators!

Casey did not ASK someone to kidnap her. I don't think that she was "kidnapped" at all!

She did work at Universal/Kodak when she got pregnant and until after Caylee was born. Could the father be a higher up at that company with lots of money? Could Caylee have been handed over to a gay couple, with money, who badly wanted a child ? Lots of possibilities out there. Sometimes it dosen't hurt to look outside the box.

:waitasec:

can you say more of who that "affluent crowd" may be? Why do you think this?

Well let's look at that:
JP Chatt - works as an editor at local channel 9 TV station (not too shabby)

Amy Huizenga - this is the one IMO that has me scratching my head. Casey admitted to Lee that Amy has a 954 area code. 954 is Ft Lauderdale. ONe of Ft. Lauderdale's "A" list celebs is Mr. Wayne Huizenga - owner of the Miami Dolphins!!!! I have yet to verify that she is related but IMO she most definitely is some way or the other

Plus all the other big money that has "stepped up to the plate" for this cause. The owner of the "exotic car place" puts up the reward. Big time bounty hunter is contacted by big time New York jounalist and is now here volunteering his time and his team. WHY? Why is Miss Casey (and this case) so important? I'm sure there are hundreds of cases all over this country with "strange" facts and mis-truths and the like to warrant big money interest.

yes, when he sees the replay he will definitely be sorry he used that term, probably already is kicking himself for it

Maybe that's what Greta cued in on that made her so somber. It certainly made my antenna twitch.
