Group Plans Memorial Walkway For Caylee

I don't see how this group is allowed to sell bricks for a 'sort of proposed' memorial. It doesn't appear that the land has been purchased or the re-zoning has been passed. Unsuspecting people will automatically believe all the hype and donate their hard earned dollars. Few will have the resources to dig deeper just assuming that all the prep work has been done and the memorial is ready to go.

It could be that, if the founder started an org it was started either under a different name or didn't become a non-profit---or, this non-profit until 2009? I'm guessing here.

The plot lists the property as Vacant HOA and it appears TH was the developer since he is listed as owning a realty company. What we don't know is, is TH the actual owner or does the property belong to the HOA? jmo

TH is the owner and also the owner of the parcel they were talking about making a parking lot out of across the street.

The vacant lot has a offer on it and is now pending for closing. The company that has it listed in R P Realty.

The other parcel is still available and the asking price is $249,000.

Au contraire. These guys are into software/programming. It almost looks like they picked, may be using a program, the most mentioned words in articles/comments during this case and incorporated that into the design. Resulting in a very tacky end item, devoid of any humane rational thinking. JMO.

There is no kid in his early twenties. The Segura family kids are all minors.
Timothy Segura, the father, age 51, is also Tim Segura, and Timothy Eric Segura, and Eric Segura, and... David Sears. Of course there could be other names as well, but those are the ones we know so far.

The founder of Bring Kids Home, according to one of the versions of the website, was Henry Segura, "The Champ" who died in 2008. He was the father of Timothy Eric Segura.

I just found a place online at the BBB to inquire about charities and have made an inquiry of them. They say even if they don't have a file on the org that my inquiry will initiate one. According to the site, they will respond. I'll let you know what I hear.

There is no 20 yr old kid Eric to my knowledge, but I DO know that Tim Segura's middle name is Eric and he does occasionally use that name....

There is a "kid" with records that can be found online, but cannot be posted here due to his being a minor....apparently, Dad "uses" this minor's name for some things so be careful.....

I finally got brave and called the planning division of Orange County Planning and Zoning. At this time there has been no application put in for re-zoning this lot. She was very nice and helpful. She said that it is also possible since this is going to be a memorial that instead of re-zoning a request could be made for a special excemption that would not go through her office. She gave me the number to call, but I only got voicemail. I didn't want leave my name and number.
She did explain that if an application is made the zoning commission makes recommendations of denial or approval. The next step is that it is presented to the county commissioners. Signs have to be posted at the property. These signs will have to be placed 10 days before the county commission meeting, and cannot be taken down till after this issue is settled. Land owners in the area will be notified by mail. How far away from the property the land owners depends on the size of the property. This is for re-zoning. I haven't found out how the special excemption works. Everything always seems to lead nowhere with this project. hmmmmmm

BBM - I think this is as it should be. This was not a place a child should ever have been. This was not a place to leave a child alone and this is not a place to memorialize a beautiful little girl. So many people have had better ideas for remembering Caylee but I surmise the whole reason for this particular spot is simply because it is the "attention getter". It is glaringly obvious at this point that this "memorial" is not about Caylee at all but how to raise funds for someone else. I hope and pray that common sense prevails and this monstosity of a memorial never breaks ground. JMO.

Who said Winne TP was Caylee's favorite? (in an earlier post) She didn't carry around a WTP animal. I think WTP was Cindy's favorite - didn't she have that theme in FICA's bedroom when she was little?

Disney WILL sue for copyright infringement. I knew a local artist who did murals in kid's rooms. He had painted 3-4 using Disney characters. Someone blew him in to Disney and he was sued and lost to Disney's high-powered lawyers.

Disney owns the ABC television network (and a whole lot more).

I searched everywhere and could find no past welterweight boxer, champion or otherwise, who died on or about that date. That's not to say it isn't out there, just that I didn't find anything yet. I found a boatload of other stuff about Timothy Eric Segura/David Spears, mostly regarding many other websites and businesses he owns or has registered but nothing about the founder of this org being a boxer--under any name (supposedly he had a professional boxing name).

I'll post more info about the other businesses/sites owned in a bit. I go on my IPad at night and it's harder for me to type and besides, I'm still researching, lol.
