Group Plans Memorial Walkway For Caylee

Partners in this exciting free family event include:
1.) The George and Cindy Anthony Foundation CayleesFund.org
2.) TEAM MARIAH www.autismspeaks.org
3.) The United States Marines COLOR GUARD
4.) TBC Productions (Ministry and Counseling)

Looks to me like they are doing using the verbiage in #1 as a way to drive SEO traffic to the site. Many people might forget the name of the A's foundation...instead searching for the terms listed in #1. KWIM???

I knew that finally someone involved with this memorial would eventually come forward. Unbelievable that tax info and background about the org was refused to it's own volunteers and they were terminated when they requested it. Just, wow.

Oh, this should be good. Lots of good info about the org and its owners might come out. I wonder if they realize that. The OS must have really ticked them off. :)

Bring Kids Home
Bring Kids Home Intitiates Legal Action Against the Orlando Sentinel, a publication that has been working devioiusly for months to stop the Memorial Project. It is time to shed some light on the Sentinel and those behind the Sentinel.

Wonder how the OS worked "devioiusly for months to stop the Memorial Project"? I never saw anything negative in prior stories. Hope they have actual facts to back that statement up.

ETA no info online in public records yet regarding a suit filed...if and when one is filed it'll show in public records.

Oh wow, finally a story about this org and people questioning it!

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news...orial-charity-20111027,0,2974256.story?page=1

Tks for your post. Since that article, Segura has been busy with web site changes.
This one is really odd.
snipped;
Engraved Bricks Available To the General Public Have All Been Reserved (not sold) - We Are Working To Establish The Corporate and Foundation Partners Who Will Join Our Coalition to build the memorial and we are obtaining bids from multiple vendors on memorial construction. We wish To Thank Those Individuals and Families Who have Supported this Important Project.

Suddenly the 80 bucks per brick has now vamooshed from their website and replaced with the above.
Also earlier in the day, the design verbiage was preceded with a remark that the final memorial could be substantial different than the artist conceptual design. But it has now changed back again to the original text. Should have lifted it when it was there.:banghead:
I trust BKH just as much as Caylees Fund.

I noticed that the T-Shirts being given away at the event this Sat. have been donated from Caylees Fund.

http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news...orial-charity-20111027,0,3722693.story?page=2

Though he had denied any partnership with the Anthonys, Segura listed their foundation, Caylee's Fund, on a Run/Walk flier as a partner for the event.

Repeated attempts to arrange an interview with George and Cindy Anthony's attorney, Mark Lippman, were unsuccessful. But George Anthony told the Sentinel in a text message Thursday that Caylee's Fund is donating shirts for the event and that is the extent of its involvement.

Changes on the website most likely mean a CYA mode.
Apparently no one realizes there's such a thing as screen shots. Websites can be changed but screen shots remain...

What, if anything, are they trying to cover up? There should be nothing to cover up or change!

That comment is hilarious. Hope OS does send a reporter to that walk tomorrow. Could be interesting.Especially if according to Delvalle ,Segura might show up.
Wonder if BKH lost about 50% of their volunteers now.:floorlaugh:

Let me guess, sadly the free T shirts are already snapped up, but we have more, not free though.

Wow. How unprofessional. Talk about a childish response. I would think with this type of endeavor you would want to newspaper on your side. Usually a defensive response indicates something to hide. jmo
Who are they trying to fool?
A page-long tirade against the Sentinal, and more particularly one individual, and then the disclaimer at the bottom states that 'nothing in this editorial should be construed as threatening'!
How dare anyone question their dealings and records.
IMO the 'substantial changes' to the plan for the memorial and the still continuing search for corporate donations to the fund might only mean one thing - the big fish can clearly see the line and sinker so are refusing to take the bait.

Amazingly childish...George and Cindy are involved in something sounding like this...:floorlaugh: .....gosh - reading this snapshot I am rushing to donate - aren't you? :banghead:

Wow, just wow. I have never seen a nonprofit respond to bad press like this ever.
Downright rude, condascending and arrogant. Can someone tell us again why ANYONE would donate money to an organization with such an attitude.
Wonder which one of them actually wrote it?

I noticed that disclaimer at the bottom of the page too. http://www.bringkidshome.org/sentinel.htm

The disclaimer states nothing said in the editorial "should be construed as threatening, binding, unequivocally accurate, or the official position of Bring Kids Home."

Huh? :floorlaugh:

Wow. Sounds like they enlisted Cindy to help them write it! I hope their project fails. I don't want people like them memorializing Caylee. Don't they understand that fighting is what killed this child in the first place, and what she saw a lot in her short life? Not good BKH, not good at all!

Exactly. Whose position is it then?
Lol. State something on your site and then say you're not responsible for saying it!

So ummmm....will they be using donation money from the memorial to pursue a law suite against the OS? Good Luck..can't wait to see how this pays out. Oh did I say that...I meant plays out. :floorlaugh:

Excellent point Sparky.
I'd be as inclined to think they'll be hoping for a payoff to bolster their coffers depleted by lack of donation from anyone else.
Come to think of it, they'd be like the Cheshire Cat if they could pull off that coup.

Most alarming is Jeff does not seem to understand basic real estate when a buyer and seller come together to complete a purchase; and the property is either paid in full or a mortgage is placed on the property. Does anyone really own their property Jeff, or do the banks own it?

http://www.bringkidshome.org/sentinel.htm

This property has not closed yet. It is still showing pending and has been for sometime now. It appears to me a mtg can not be obtained on this property and may be a cash deal.

Status PNC = Pending

JMO

PS Yes some people own their own properties. I do.
