Found some info on why TM was pulled out of the courtroom:

Before Sidney Moorer's trial began today, his wife Tammy Moorer appeared before the judge for a pre-trial hearing for her charge of allegedly violating the gag order in place in the Heather Elvis case.

Judge Markley Dennis said it was determined that the matter needed to be investigated further. The case has been continued until her next court appearance can be scheduled by the administrative judge.

One of the lawyers representing (Tammy) Moorer appears to be Bill Nettles, a former U.S. Attorney for South Carolina.

I am watching now from WBTW's Facebook page. Right when I turned on, the judge said something and TM walked out of the courtroom.

Judge Dennis says one of the alternates (man) will take a woman juror's spot who cannot serve because of family issues.

State now calls Jeff Cauble to the stand. He is no longer with HCPD, but worked as a detective and assigned Elvis case in 2013.

Cauble says he talked to Moorer days after the investigation started. Says it's crucial to get as much info in beginning of investigation
