Can we talk about the fact that SM (his phone) was confirmed to be at LBs that night (via the LEO on stand) and we are just now hearing confirmation of this. ???!!!
WHY wasn't that talked about during the murder trial?

I would have remembered that.

Right?
What's the timeline for Heather's phone and LB's again? I know that SM's phone had been turned off just prior to December 11 upon return from Disneyland, and it was turned back on for the first time at 3:00 am the night Heather went missing. Did he leave the battery in while it was turned off, or did they locate it at LB's at or after 3:00 am?

BBM: The thought of that hurts my heart so bad.
Yeah, me too. I probably should keep those thoughts to myself. No need to make y'all suffer through them. Im sorry. Its just that the circumstances of Heathers death has affected me so greatly.

I have no idea about SM phone being at LB b/c it was never confirmed before today. At least to my knowledge. Here is the TL of Heather's phone posted during or after the murder trial:

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?238748-Timelines-*No-Discussion-Thread*&p=12666384#post12666384

But there is this from the post linked above:

3:02:42am to 3:15:08am (Heather's phone is located back at Longbeard's. 15 GPS records)

SM Phone is then powered on around 3:02 AM EST,
powering off is not recorded, only power on
when off, no location data is available.

^^ This is information provided by verified experts at the murder trial^^

This is all that was grabbed during trial:

SM's iPhone:

after 12/11/2013, there is no geolocation data available (I assume this means location services for photos is turned off, was not specified during trial testimony)

Call Log:
phone is used between 1:09 AM EST and 1:13 AM EST, so it was on at this point.
Phone is then powered on around 3:02 AM EST,

Can someone refresh my memory.....did the Moorers get new phones/phone numbers at some point after the HE/SM break-up and before the kidnapping and murder?

  • #327
Do we know the exact time of the pregnancy test purchase? Would it be feasible for him to have purchased it, they met at LB, he gives it to her, she goes back home to take test and then back out to meet him?? It's just strange that we now have this info of his phone being located there. It makes me think perhaps they did have a quick meet up, because after her trip there she starts to call SM's phone as though she now knows he is in possession of it?

So Heather's phone arrived for a second time at Longbeard's at the exact time SM's phone was turned on after being off all that time. Well, that's a little too coincidental to believe it's a coincidence.

The Seaboard Street Wal-Mart is where Moorer can be seen parking his truck in a handicap space and entering the store about 1:12 a.m. on Dec. 18, 2013. He then selected a test and purchased it, along with a cigar, at 1:19 a.m., according to a time-stamped receipt.

Definitely a great theory! LB was closed so she wouldn't have used a restroom inside. It fits.

Cannot verify, but I would think.

I also thinks they may have gotten a burner phone or two that would never be found, IMOO. :moo:

When Heather's phone left LB's, it was headed in the direction of her apartment. It didn't make it all the way there, before it turned around at the entrance of a neighborhood and went back to LB's.

Thank you!! So he had purchased it by that point. Makes me wonder...

From the trial (about those text messages). I'm not sure when these texts were sent:

Will Lynch, a North Myrtle Beach police officer who was an officer with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit when he worked on Elvis’ case, testified he assembled a report of text messages exchanged by Elvis and Moorer.

Messages between them indicated a relationship between Heather Elvis and Sidney Moorer, along with a fear of Tammy Moorer, Sidney’s wife.

At one point, Elvis asked when Moorer would have his phone back and the sender replied, identifying himself as Moorer. The message also stated he didn’t want to talk to her anymore and that their involvement was a mistake.

A message from Elvis’ phone replied back: “You knew what you were doing. It was no mistake. I understand that this can’t go on anymore. I just want to know that your wife isn’t going to show up at my job.”

Another message that followed from Elvis’ cellphone said: “I lost hours today because they sent me home after she kept calling.”

Sidney Moorer’s cellphone replied that Tammy Moorer had a boyfriend and didn’t care about Elvis, but was mad at him for lying.

The exchange went on and some of the messages were deleted from the phone, but were recovered from a computer belonging to Sidney Moorer.

Some recovered messages said: “I’ve been having Sidney followed since January 2012.” Another message stated: “I’ll give you one last chance to answer me before we meet in person. Only one,” according to Perry’s report.

Exactly my thoughts too.
