Furr says he talked to Moorer - Moorer claimed he had not talked to Elvis in six weeks...later said he talked to her the night before.

Furr says had he known about a pay phone call with Elvis before, he would have handled investigation differently.

Moorer's attorney Kirk Truslow now asking Furr if he has a copy of the report to show where he talked to Moorer.

Furr says he doesn't have the report and hasn't given the solicitor's office or Truslow the report showing the communication with Moorer.

Judge Dennis asking jurors to leave the room. He has to talk to the attorneys about the report in question.

Moorer's other attorney, Kirk Truslow, is asking the witness if he can see a police report from the night Furr talked to Moorer

The judge has asked the jury to leave the room while they talk about the initial report that Truslow wants to see

State has given Truslow a report to review. Jurors still are not in the room.

Truslow says he's not going to say he hasn't received the report but needs a few minutes to look over it.

Jurors are now being brought back in the room.

Report says Furr asked if Moorer had “seen” Elvis and he said he had not “seen” her in six months.

Correction: Report says Furr asked if Moorer had “seen” Elvis and he said he had not “seen” her in six weeks.

Furr says he remembers Moorer saying he hadn't "talked" to Elvis. Claims he didn't write the report - another officer did for him.

Defense: Moorer told another officer - not Sgt. Furr - he hadn't seen Elvis in 6 weeks (according to police report provided)

Truslow is asking Sgt. Furr about the fact that he did not write a report based on his conversation w/ Moorer. Another officer wrote report.

Thanks JerseyGirl for that link - I can finally see something!!! :happydance:

Is that the defense lawyer in gray suit asking questions now? TAI!

Did I heard correctly? Did Truslow just try to get Furr to recollect what DVD he watched/rented the weekend after these events occurred?

Yes that's KT Kirk Truslow, Sidney's attorney.

Thankfully over ruled but now I'm curious where he was going.

Yes, and the questioning was overruled and "he had no further questions".

Sit down KT!

He's trying to get facts thrown out based on stupid little details, like asking what DVD he rented the week after this timeframe.

Scales was contacted by Officer Canterbury to respond with him to question Moorer at his home for missing person case.

The conversation between Scales, Canterbury, another officer, and Moorer was recorded.

At the time, officers believed Moorer was the last person to have spoken to Heather.

Scales says he knew very little about the case at the time. He knew they believed Moorer to be the last person Elvis had talked with then.
