I should clarify I wasn't talking about the Free Exercise Clause or the Establishment Clause from the Constitution. I didn't mean it shouldn't legally be done. I meant it in the metaphorical, Thomas Jefferson, the church and state should stay out of each other's business kind of way. I don't have intentions of a political or religious debate. I just think it's silly to ask people, who may or may not be Christian, to swear on the Bible that may or may not matter to them.No that is not covered by separation of church and state.
I'd love to see SM on the stand answering the question, "were you purchasing the pregnancy test for your wife, who had been drinking all night, or your ex-girlfriend, who you wanted to leave you alone?"Ha! The Wal Mart video made it in!
I missed that. It really saddens me to the core that those kids are there. I'm glad one of them isn't there. I wish none of them were. They will never be "normal." There's no coming back from this. Even if they believe the lies, one day down the road, they'll have an a-ha moment and realize just what their parents have done - not only criminally, but morally by putting them through this.
I agree.
In addition, it's been theorized here at WS before that TM and SM spent their cross-country trip plotting this whole plan to kill Heather upon their return, and I always blew that off because even though I thought it was pre-meditated, I didn't think it was THAT pre-meditated.
However, after listening to SM's interview this morning, when he said that he and TM used their trip to "talk about their relationship after the kids went to sleep" I have reconsidered and I think they WERE planning and plotting on the trip. I just don't know WHY! Why not just leave this poor girl alone?
And, did any of the innocent kids hear any of this plotting when they were supposed to be asleep?![]()

Think that was Morgan on the left in the black shirt. Gosh she looks so much like Heather! I wonder how it feels for the murderers to see her in that courtroom?
