That is Truslow making those noises!

Oh. Couldn't tell by just listening and wasn't fully attentive I must add.

Audience was probably struggling not to laugh out loud.

I really thought one of them was going to give the camera a funny look/face as they were filing out lol!

I honestly think KT knows he is about to lose this case....

  • #905
That was the most torturous 3 hour closing I have ever watched.

I think he did his strategy. All he needs is one person who distrusts LEO or the justice system. The whiplash of information just has to confuse and set one person to saying not guilty. Smart to end with the 2500 other things and I am not going to waste your time with the frivolous other inconsistencies---- if the lawyer says it doesn't hold water who am I to question has worked in other trials is a good way to get the one marginal juror.

I saw them after the attorney sat down, and they left when the jurors left....

Boy that was definitely a :trainwreck:

So - now the jurors get instructions and get the case?
Yes?

Hopefully, yes, cause it's :bedtime: here...

Talking about the audience reminded me that this morning there were two women and a man sitting a row or two behind the Moorer family. They all three turned at some point and gave the news cameras the side-eye (not all at the same time), and I noticed they disappeared at some point. They were there for the first break is all I remember. I wondered if one of the women was TM's sister, but they didn't seem to interact at all with her party. Wonder who they were!

Edited to respond:

I was wondering if they'll start deliberating today or start tomorrow. It's nowhere near bedtime here but I get distracted when the hubs gets home from work.

They panned back and TM and her daughter aren't in the courtroom.

I wonder when they left?

They left as soon as the Judge called for a break. TM and the girl were speaking as they walked out.

White woman, white man, black woman? I was wondering who they were, too.

Oh cripes. The judges favorite part. Talking.

Yes! I remember seeing SM's other attorney speaking to PC and they were there for that, but I don't remember seeing them again after that

If instructions are just 20 minutes or so, then it goes to the jury- that will be around ~4:20 EST. Maybe they'll be back with a verdict today, given the closing statements, lol.

Oops, I forgot this judge thinks everyone loves what he has to say...

Can anyone tell me if TM is still on FB?

  • #920
YES! I do remember that. And I remember it being super gross.
Post nasal drip from allergies is my guess. A guy in my office does this constantly. I refer to him as "hock a loogie" guy. Makes me nauseous. The cure is liberal use of Mucinex, twice a day. It works! And maybe an antihistamine.
