Pre-trial motions started about noon with Judge Benjamin Culbertson granting the defense’s motion to sequester witnesses.

They are sequestering the jury, this may take more time. I'm sure people don't want to be sequestered, no? With a possible Tropical Storm Michael going through the State later this week, I'm not sure people want to leave their homes again.

Folks on the jury panel have been taken to a holding area and now some are being brought in one-by-one for questioning. When the panel was asked who had heard or read about the case, more than half of the potential jurors stood up.

Potential jurors just entered the courtroom. Five benches are full.

If potential jurors entered and there are five benches full, then that means the jurors will be picked from the five benches full.

I have always thought the Mrs. was the mastermind behind the whole thing .. Sure ole Sid has just as much of a hand in it, but I wonder if maybe he really doesn't "know" exactly what happened, and was just the one to lure Heather via phone to whatever location and then the Mrs. took care of the rest? I doubt the two of them really would be smart enough though to concoct that kind of plan and truly get away with it ...

I'm hoping Sid being a witness, maybe he will crack or took some sort of a deal?? Or can he be trusted with whatever he says on the stand?
