Defense shut down Nancy pretty quickly but she had asked if anyone mentioned Heather Elvis so it was in that context. I do wonder why they would still be bringing the affair up after the 'problem had been taken care of'. Guess Tammy isn't one to let things go.

Nancy asked Irene if Tammy told her about Sidney's affair. She said that Sidney shared that information, but then there was a sustained objection because of hearsay. So, she was only allowed to ask what Tammy said to her (since she's in the room I guess), and it was that she beat the hell out of Sidney.

No, narcs don't ever let anything go even long after it's over. I guess maybe she had already heard the news about her son and Heather? Wasn't it on the news by then? Maybe SM wanted to go tell his parents before they found out from the media? He could have just called them since he got his phone back the day after Heather went missing.

Agree. I am catching up and even though we cant hear with the break going on she is talking to the lawyer and very animate about something.

Just speculating but she is either going to testify herself soon and is preparing or she is showing them a bunch of her notes that her lawyers never brought up during deliberations.

We can tell she is taking a very active part in her own trial which is to be expected and I would do similarly but I suspect she is trying to control a little too much and the lawyers may know a little more than she does about what is good to bring up and what is not.

I feel sorry for the defense lawyers to some extent having a client like her. Very controlling. It probably makes it difficult for the defense attorneys to do what they think is best when they have someone trying to direct them.

They probably threw in the towel long ago and told her "fine we will do it your way and if it doesnt work out then its on you". That could be why we saw the young defense attorney asking all those silly questions past few days.
