Judge saying if they violated sequestration, they can't testify. Can I say again...I love this judge!

  • #422
Well now they are calling the deputy to the stand to testify that the M kids and PC did violate order.

  • #423
They’re going to have to poll the witnesses, I would imagine, in chambers, perhaps?

I want to watch so bad, thanks for you all keeping us in the loop who can’t watch

State says all three children of Tammy Moorer have all violated the sequestration order. Defense says the children say they didn't and there needs to be a witness. State says they're prepared to call a witness - a sheriff's deputy.

The state says several witnesses from the defense violated the sequestration order, including the three Moorer children, as well as two others. Judge asking for a witness. Now a @horrysheriff deputy is on the stand.

State says all three children and one more violated the sequestration order. Court security now on the witness stand to talk about it.

After confiscating the laptop, 20 minutes later, they still had their cell phones and were watching on those.

What did your dog respond?

Bailiff seems to be twiddling her hair in between her fingers, looking all around.. Not paying much attention.
My dog said be patient, Bailiff has something coming up and darn if he wasn't right?! Shocked at this turn but not surprised.

Wait wait wait.

Her family violated the order, and solely her family? I wonder if someone did some Google Fu and presumed that would mean a swift mistrial, not factoring in the likelihood of simply barring the witnesses?

Now defense is trying to say it was the deputies fault that McGowen was in the room.

  • #438
Defense doing cross and states she told him last week and he told her not to let Mr. McGowan (??) into the room.

  • #439
That's contempt! The whole family might be getting a suite at the Lee Correctional Institution extended stay.
