Tammy Moorer in in court on Thursday as the defense starts to present its case in her conspiracy and kidnapping trial. She said she will testify and I will have plenty of updates when/if she does.

Full eye make up and hair done. She's ready for her close up

I thought the State rested? This guy is from Sprint?

I'm not seeing anyone but I think the defense was going to re-call the T-Mobile guy with respect to that note on the phone records from July 2013 (implying Heather was missing then).

Also, from what those in court yesterday told me Christian, the Moorers' oldest son, was originally going to be the Defense's first witness. After TM decided she was going to testify, they decided to put her on the stand first. Let's see if that is still the case. Tick. Tock.

From my trial days, if the defendant was going to take the stand, they either had to take it first up, or be removed from the courtroom so they could not hear what the witnesses said and add that to their own story. Maybe that's partially the case here?

Tammy had her hair did. Does she think she was invisible to the jurors prior to today?

That makes sense.

OMGosh... my heart aches so badly for them. The tears are flowing copiously after viewing that video!!
th

I feel like I'm on an emotional rollercoaster here!!
Here too. I would love to be able to hold their hands, give them a hug and tell them although I don’t know Heather she matters to me and to so many others too.
Morgan’s words resonated so deeply with me when she spoke about seeing people around them smiling when their world has stopped. We lost my 26 year old brother in November 2009 while he was travelling in Bali, Indonesia. We were in such deep grief and yet the world carried on around us like nothing had changed. Our lives had changed forever on that day and at times I just wanted to scream and let everyone know that a beautiful light had just gone out in the world, how can you just carry on! It is unfathomable to me what the Elvis’s have endured since Heather’s disappearance, the not knowing must be a daily torture.

I so badly want justice for Heather and this poor family. Heather has not been shuffled to the back, she is in my thoughts constantly as i’m sure all of yours and I pray the truth is brought to light out of the darkness.

If Tammy is taking tips on how to win over the jury from Casey Brown, she is in bigger trouble.

I see no tweets - am I watching this live - with the guy from a phone co on there being questioned by the pros?

I've been wondering about that. In some trials, I've seen the defendant testify first, in others, they are the last witness to testify on the defense side of the trial.

BBM. I have heard from a reliable source (I know...hearsay, lol) that Sidney was planning to plead the 5th to every question asked and so instead of wasting the court's time, they chose not to call him. He has gone back to the prison he lives in and won't be testifying at all.

According to the state inmate information page, he returned from Horry County custody to the Lee Correctional facility yesterday, October 17.

https://public.doc.state.sc.us/scdc-public/inmateDetails.do?id= 00373721

Reason for transport: to court. Reason for return: from court.

He won't be testifying.

I was thinking about that yesterday. I wondered if she would try to change her look for her day of testimony, but like you said, the jury has seen her already, so I'm not sure I understand the point. But then again, I don't understand much of anything she does, and I'm okay with that.

Looks like Tammy has ditched the "librarian look" and today is not wearing those large black framed glasses.

TM definitely has a "look" today. More rouge and dark eyeliner.

*Yes, I said rouge. Wifey says, nobody calls it that since the 1800's. LOL!

No judge on the bench right now, and it seems like some of the attorneys are also out of the room too.

Sure, I would like that. I'm about an hour away.
I'm in Surfside (obviously), so I can be there in under half an hour. Seriously let me know if you decide to make the drive.
